Like KD said in the after game interview, we can't take anything for granted. We need to go to Milwaukee and bring the same high level effort for 48 minutes.

Wishing a speedy recovery to James Harden and Uncle Jeff. Even though they are not playing they offer words of wisdom from the sidelines.

Nets Board Roll Call continues. Check in and show your support !

Lets Go Nets !!

I’m not even going to try and predict what will happen this next game. Honestly thought the bucks would win game 2. I thought it would be close but we would come up short. How wrong was I lol. So I’m not gonna guess. I can’t imagine the bucks playing poorly again but I think the nets energy and defense had everything to do with the bucks poor play and not just the bucks playing poorly. So for me it’s all about how the nets come out.

I think the first quarter will decide things. The nets demoralized the bucks in the first quarter. The first few shots will tell if the nets are ready and motivated or if they get complacent

Crucial game 3.

They're hurting right now after last night's embarrasment so you know they're going to come out with everything they've got + playing at home is always a boost.

I hope we are smart/focused enough to use their desperation against them and finish them off on the road.

Got a feelin we might just **** around and sweep them after all the hype.

Bucks are not good enough to beat us. We lose if KD/Kyrie take their foot off the gas.

But they seem motivated. If we win Game 3 its a sweep. Bucks will fold.

I'm hoping we can get these guys some rest. Atl/Philly might go 7 games.

Everything is roses now. but if they win and its 2-1 with game 4 in milwaukee with a chance to even the series all of a sudden things dont seem all sunshine and rainbows.

Our foots are on their necks, time to apply pressure and end this thing.

absurd. Man, if we win a title Kyrie Irving will need a statue built outside of Barclays in his honor. We don't get to this point without him wanting to come home.

I like PJ Tucker. The guy is a pro and plays hard. But this is a clear example of how talent trumps everything. It doesn't matter what he does defensively. Durant's pull up and release is probably the most unstoppable basketball shot in modern basketball, easily on par with post Jordan's fadeaway, Duncan's bankshot and Dirk's one footer.

I don't have the numbers for any of those, but this dude pulls up with defenders within inches from him and they have no effect on his shot a majority of the time.

I think they are shook. Giannis is defeated already. Just lock down Middleton and take their souls in this game.

I've been a pretty harsh critic of Durant going back to his OKC days, mainly because despite what you say about his ability to pull up and shoot over anyone, he's had legit struggles in the PS before he joined GS. And then with GS, he was on the most stacked team of all time, and so obviously he was gonna put up dominant numbers, because defenses often times looked more scared of Curry than they were Durant, and so he had so much more freedom to do whatever he wanted.

But now in Brooklyn, without James Harden (meaning it's definitely not a super team, it's Kyrie and a bunch of role players), he's still dominating against a good defensive team with the reigning DPOY, and good defenders all over the place.

So it's making me rethink my criticisms of him from before...maybe the reason he struggled in the PS with OKC is because despite having Westbrook and good role players, those teams had awful spacing, and so it allowed defenses to collapse on him and force him into really tough shots, force him into being a ball handler and passer which are not his strengths, and it led to a drop-off in his efficiency. So he didn't necessarily need a team as stacked as GS...he just needed a team that had good spacing and a lead guard capable of taking up the ball handling and playmaking responsibilities, so that he could focus on what he does best.

And that's a reasonable expectation, everybody needs help. So the criticisms of his struggles in OKC may be too harsh, it may have had more to do with poor roster construction than fundamental deficiencies in Durant's game.

Yep, I'm trilled we held serve at home and won both games to start this series. Even more thrilled that we blew them out. But not for one second should any Nets fan allow themselves to get cocky. All you have to do is look at the Clippers going down 0-3 to the Mavericks, THEN WINNING THE SERIES 4-3, to realize it's nice to be up 2-0, a lot better than the alternative, but two games does not win a seven game series.

Lastly, so far as home games are concerned the Clippers/Mavs was an aberration, but I believe it was Pat Riley who once said a playoff series doesn't start until someone loses a home game.

Truer words have never been spoken.

If the Bucks hold serve at home like we did, suddenly it's 2-2 and we're looking at a best of 3 series.

However, if we just win ONE ROAD GAME this week, then and ONLY THEN are we sitting in the catbird seat.

Then and ONLY THEN will we have a chance to close this series out in 5 ... in Brooklyn.

So I'll wait and hope that we win at least one of these two games before I allow myself to get giddy.

i mean above it shows he is shooting 50% on contested threes and 90% of his attempts are contested, so... youre not wrong
