A hamstring can pull at anytime. There’s nothing good or bad about this.

Harden was given extra precautions before during the season and it still happened again in the next series. No way to tell how it responds unless you actually play.

I think this is Harden forcing in, reacting to Kyrie's injury, with some resistance from the team.

I doubt this is the team speeding up his timeline because of the kyrie injury

either way, im super nervous he hurts it early on a tweak. fingers crossed

Bucks fans seemingly want to target harden... which to me plays right into our hands. It is a win for us if they are running pick and rolls with PJ tucker as the screener or post ups to brook lopez.

They are a 3, Paint, & D team. They should be focusing more on getting back to what they do well, (which they haven’t really been doing against us) than becoming something they’re not.

If they want to turn this into a game of seeking out mismatches and attacking via ISO, by all means go ahead. Only Middleton is a good enough creator to do that. He’s good, but Harden & KD are ISO gods. This is what they do.

Both KD and Harden require double teams, but if they’re on the floor together you can’t double both of them. Good luck locking up both of them and keeping the role players at bay at home in Brooklyn.

Claxton HAS to play. Green basically pushed him back to a bench cheerleader. i love green, but keep green as a PF and let Claxton/Blake play center.

IDK how to feel about this. I appreciate Harden wanting to come back, but I don't want to see him pull up lame for a third time.

Biggest problem is that even with Green out Nash refused to play Clax much more than 15 minutes.

I knew deep down he was going to play. This is his chance, of course there is the question of a reinjury but he is likely as close to 100% as we could hope, this was always the type of injury he would rest a week at most for. I think we will be relieved and celebrating tonight after this win and protecting home court.

I feel you, BUT Nic hasn't set the world on fire recently. Also, his minutes paired with Brown have been a net negative for us, since they thrive in similar areas on the court. If I have to choose one of them, it's Bruce, but hopefully in 48 minutes of game action we can find a solid 20 for Claxton. Stagger them as much as possible, and tell Brown he has to stretch the floor for 6 minutes while Nic is in with him, so we can utilize our best defensive lineup.

Claxton is great defensively but he struggles offensively and doesn’t space the floor. He also hasn’t exactly been able to provide the same resistance against Giannis that Griffin was able to.

Green doesn’t have much value in this matchup imo. He can’t really defend Giannis, his overall defensive ability kind of sucks, and he’s hit or miss on offense. I think Griffin/Claxton is the way to go. Maybe play Green with them and not instead of them? That way, you’re spacing the floor for Claxton to be effective.

I wouldn't be surprised if there's some gamesmanship one way or the other just to make Milwaukee implement multiple defensive schemes for Harden playing vs not playing.

Green was terrible on Sunday. Claxton should be playing 30 mins minimum.

I will say though, id still play more Green at the 4 and claxton needs 15 minutes.

Here's an interesting stat line from last night: Antetokounpo was a -8 and Harden was a +3 on the floor. His presence on the floor had a positive impact on the game.
