Wouldnt have been devestated if he left, but glad he is back. helps continuity, helps defensively. helps depth.
But thats a 3M increase on last year, and probably makes it less likely we get a player in the dinwiddie trade

We know where he fits and he has played well on both ends. Iam glad he is back. I think if we get a TPE on the Din S+T we have a green light to use it this year for the right player. Otherwise Marks would just let Din walk.

Happy to have BB back. Win win for both parties. Hopefully we can see a marginal improvement in his 3pt shooting next season. Would be huge if he did.

Glad he's back as he can fill a few different spots in a pinch if injuries pile up...

If he can hone his floater skills in crunch time situation this could be quite a difference maker imo. Alternatively, albeit harder, if he was able to knock down his outside shots at a better clip that could work too. He had some great offensive rebounds in some key games for us, however more than a few times he missed some opportunities down the stretch for shots around the rim that were very makeable, I sincerely hope he works on his floater. Additionally I noticed that the defenses eased up on him when he wasn't hitting jumpers so if he can improve on that end it would certainly help.
With Bruce and Blake re-signed I think this team can run it back by focusing on Brown's floater, Harris's shooting and everyone's health... then we should be all set.

For a 6'4 player Bruce plays well above his size. He got a great nose for the ball and pulled in a good amount of offensive board for us. He definitely earned a place on this upcoming seasons roster. He improved since Detroit and is just turning 25. Nash seems to like him so he could make a leap this season.

Feel alot more comfy with him here. Him and Jevon Carter will be a pest defensively.

You think so? The way he was jerked in and out of the rotation despite of how he played in prior games suggested to me that Nash wasn't really fond of him.

He really needs to develop a spot up corner three point shot similar to PJ Tucker to truly be able to stay on the court at all times.

I agree. That's why I'm not that high on Brown as it stands. There were too many times we'd run a screen-and-roll with KD on the right wing and the defense would overplay KD and drop a man to the paint to stop Brown's drive to the basket, and the only thing he could do was pass back out to KD and reset the play despite being wide open.

Our rotations were crazy last season. I'm pretty sure we led the league in different starting lineups. I couldn't even guess what was Nash's logic behind that. But even so, I thought Bruce got a substantial amount of minutes.
IMO Bruce has not hit his ceiling yet.Not saying he is going to light the world on fire, but hopefully he is working hard to up his value. He is basically in a contract year this season.
