As a last bit of fun before the regular season, I thought it would be interesting to see how we would compare an even split of the roster. Full disclosure, I'm blatantly stealing from the Glue Guys podcast's latest episode. All due respect, I love those guys, they goofed up their draft.

Let me say, in my version of this draft, I removed the possibility of Machiavellian, keep-him-from-you picks. If it were the All-Star Game, that would be a smart strategy. However, this is a scrimmage between teammates. Here's how I think our captains would draft (non-participating members excluded):

3) Durant - Griffin
4) Harden - Claxton

5) Harden - Millsap
6) Durant - Mills

7) Durant - Aldridge
8) Harden - Carter

9) Harden - Thomas
10) Durant - Bembry

11) Durant - Johnson
12) Harden - Sharpe

13) Harden - Duke
14) Durant - Edwards

The depth charts look like this:

Mills, Brown, Durant, Griffin, Aldridge
Bembry, Edwards, Johnson


Carter, Harden, Harris, Millsap, Claxton
Thomas, Duke, Sharpe


I think that both squads are functional, and these would be some epic camp battles! So, which do you think would win, and why? GO!

This is like the old goats vs the young bucks......lol

We all know at NBA level any team can win. But if these guys are going to be going at it 100% then I would bet on Team Durant. They have both the experience and the dawgs.

Mills should be the top pick, especially for KD. Game over if Harden grabs Mills and leaves KD with no ball handler.
