GT: Raptors @ Nets 12/14 - 7:30 EST

The Raptors will be playing us on the second night of a back to back. Of corse playing against us will give them extra motivation. They are a young team so we can still expect a good battle. Looking forward to watching Scotty Barnes.

As for us, there are a lot of positives and some really glaring negatives. We have to continue to build on the defensive end, in particular keep them off the offensive glass.

KD made a lot of noise with his league leading 51 point performance. We are really beyond lucky to have a player so locked in and dedicated. If we could get the Beard on the same page or even the same chapter it would be amazing.

Does anyone know when we can expect to see Joe Harris back? Adding him to the bench unit will provide some much needed spacing for Harden to work with.

4-8 weeks from his surgery (the speculated recovery time)

4 weeks would be December 27th.
We play 12/27 @ Clippers

5 weeks would be Jan 3rd
We plat 1/3 home vs. Grizz

6 weeks would be Jan 10th
We play 1/9 home vs. Spurs

7 weeks would be Jan 17th
We play 1/17 @ Cavs

8 weeks would be Jan 24th
We play 1/25 home vs. lakers

I think he probably plays short minutes on 1/21 cs spurs and 1/23 vs wolves ramping up to play full minutes at home vs. the lakers.

The nets are usually overly cautious and we are #1 in the east so i doubt they rush it.

Raps will be without OG Anonouby. Which helps since he kills us and is there best Sf/PF defender. Birch is out as well, so they are shorter at the C spot

Achiuwa is out today for the 2nd game for covid and may miss our game as well. if he does, raps are really thin up front

no excuse to lose this one. at home, back to back for hobbled raps team, and a rested harden

I expect a win but somehow I feel the Raptors will make it a fight. Nash will have to balance LMA/Claxton. With Claxton, our defense goes into super elite mode and shuts teams down whereas it takes a heat dramatically with LMA. Not quiet sure but should we experiment a Claxton/LMA combo where Clax covers a switch and LMA stays down low in case the opposition gets past Clax and LMA offers rim protection.

This will be a dog fight. Raps are well coached and they have dogs like we do.

Give me some Harden/KD pick and roll PLEASE Nash.

Brooklyn Nets big man Paul Millsap has entered the NBA's health and safety protocols. If Millsap is unable to produce two negative tests at least 24 hours apart, he'll be out for a minimum of 10 days.

'Sap is out, at least for this trip...

No OG, No Khiem Birch, No Precious Achiuwa.

raps on back to back, both on the road.

This should be a win, no excuses

our next three games are vs opponents who will be playing us as 2nd of a back to back on the road. anything but 3 wins to me is a disappointment

this is why the mandate is so stupid... Kyrie cant play, but opposing players unvaccinated can and teams riddled with covid exposure can. i dont think its a coincidence we have 4 guys in protocol after playing the bulls recently and their entire team is in protocol.

if its about safety, dont let these guys play in NY. period.

Out of an abundance of Greed and disregard for covid spread, the NBA has decided to go ahead with tonight’s match up.

If everyone is getting COVID we need to go back to old protocols.

Daily testing, masks, distancing.

Half our **** team has COVID. Who knows if we can even win?

WE just got f*cked. This game needs to be postponed. We've got a Covid outbreak

Read on Twitter

We got infected by the Bulls. This is bad and the NBA may want to consider a shut down for a 2 week period.

I agree with you that NO unvaccinated players should be allowed in Barclays.

I blame the Sixers, they're the ones that got the Bulls infected.

Never made sense for them to stop.

just curious, do the restaurants on flatbush or vanderbilt by the arena have outdoor seating?

The last time I was there about 6 weeks ago there were plenty of restaurants with outdoor seating.
