Lets say KD/Kyrie go super nova and beat the Cavs at home.

Then we play a tough competitive series against Boston and lose.

Does anyone really think Nash gets fired? I don't.

He will have all the excuses in the world about Kyrie not being vaxxed, Harden quitting and Simmons being out.

I think theres basically no shot he gets fired. Were stuck with him for another year. And KD is likely exiting his prime any day now.

If we lose in the first round, everyone should be fired.

Failing upwards.

he improved at everything, but we got worse, and nothing we stunk at last year got better.

even with drummond, rebounding has still been an issue at times.

one of the best scorers ever in KD + Harden = "we have to win with defense"

one of the best rebounders ever = "we have to gang rebound and find a way to limit second chances"

dude gets a huge handicap with all-time greats yet we still struggle in those areas

His coaching record is only good because of KD, Kyrie and Harden carrying his useless ass. I'm so sick of him and I want him and Marks fired.

What pisses me off is the lack of accountability on the part of Nash. He always talks about how he supports KD & Kai even during slumps, but he never ever mentioned his lack of adjustments, being outcoached and cluelessness.

KD's bad game is a result of Boston's stifling D, as a coach, it's his job to make things easier for his superstars.

He needs to man up and take responsibility...

Nash has to go and it's obvious. But I really think the whole coaching staff needs a do-over.

I got no stats or vids to support this, but as I remember, last years playoffs the team stepped it up a ton, especially on the defensive end. We shut down Boston and were very good against Milwaukee. We lost the series, but we played Giannis quite good, and we adjusted a lot in comparison to the regular season. For example DJ started about every game in the regular season and guarded giannis in all games as far as I remember... doing a really poor job. The coaching staff acutally saw that and put Blake on Giannis in the postseason who did a very solid job on him. We had less switching than in the regular season, we build a better wall against Giannis and still contested 3 point shots. We really stepped it up and all of this under Nash. I'm quite certain, this was Udoka pulling the strings.

This year, I didn't notice any major adjustements so far. We are having the same issues as in the regular season and they are obvious. Both offensively and defensively. We are switching a ton, even though we don't have the personal (like Seth on Tatum) and still can't contest 3 pointers. This along with bad defensive awareness of some players (like, did anyone notice Irving yelling at Drummond in the 4th Quarter to guard Horford at the 3 point line until he finally moved? Seth gambling for steals?) is just frustrating to watch. Most of our players are not great defensively, but I'm sure they would be able to step up a bit, being better coached.

He has to go. This playoffs has media finally calling Nash out. His showing he is a horrible coach on national TV every game we play. Plus losing to your assistant last yr is embarrassing. Ain't no excuse we have both KD n kyrie. Roster has been healthy as it's ever been.

We also need a coach who won't be scared to challenge the players and put a system in place. KD and KAI think they don't need play calls except this Celtics series is showing we do need a real offense, especially w/o a maestro at the controls like Harden.

It doesn't have to be a Warriors system which took years and tons of reps but there is an acceptable medium between that and ISO.

3 games, 10 days, 5 practices, 0 adjustments by Nash to the hard double teams on KD.

every media outlet calling him out.

If he isnt fired, ive lost all faith in humanity

Nash is a very weak coach and this team is getting completely exposed. That's some of the most static basketball I've seen and there is no single adjustment being made by the coach. KD messed up big time when he brought in his buddy who never had any experience or even desire to be the coach. Jacque Vaughn was there ready to take the job and for some reason they decided to put Nash infront of him at the last minute, completely undeserved. Ime Udoka was part of the coaching staff aswell, and they still wanted Nash. Karma always comes back to bite you.

Who’s replacing him? He should be given a fair chance to fix it before anything like that. He’s 1-1 with Kenny and Steve.

He’s been damn near perfect with trades and drafting until we dealt for Harden.

That would be an incredibly short sided decision that could lead to worse outcomes. We don’t know how that could effect KD staying here.

We have no control over our picks for god knows how long, and he wasted two years of Durant's prime with Nash. I wouldn't be upset if he got canned along with Nash.

No GM should get to hire more than two coaches during their tenure.
