Dragic would probably be a nice target. Not so sure about Enes though. We already got Drummond.

After what Enes Freedom said about our Joe Tsai, he'll never sniff a BKN jersey.

Please get us Dragic.

Dragic will basically be Kyrie insurance. He will give us 50% of Kyrie and some shooting.

Not sure who else I really care about. We have enough bigs now. And shooting.

Dragic should absolutely be the #1 target.

I don't expect any buyout action. You'd have to think that Marks would still like to sign Kess, which means we have to cut one more player (probably Johnson or Brown) to accommodate that. To convert Kess & get somebody on the buyout market we need to cut two more.

You don't do that unless the guy you're picking up is in your top 8-10. No sense in swapping guys that will get no minutes anyway.

KD
Kyrie
Simmons
Mills
Curry
Drummond
Griffin/Aldridge
Edwards*

Thomas
Brown
Sharpe
Carter
Johnson
Harris**

Edwards is probably the threshold. Someone needs to be better than him to warrant cutting Brown and Johnson.

We're not in the buyout market market. If we had the front office will to either trade or cut a player to make room for a buyout guy, we would have already done it instead of cutting Bembry. I highly doubt we would pick up anyone better than Bembry, anyway. I'm really frustrated that we cut him instead of Johnson or Carter. My guess is that we intended to flip Claxton after acquiring Drummond, and hit a snag in trade negotiations (couldn't pass another team's physical???).

Dragic is either going to Dallas or back to Miami, book it. No use in wringing our hands about missing out on him, he's almost toast anyway, and we have 3 small guards better than him now.

Adding Tristan would be a mistake, we have too many bigs and not enough wings as it is.

yea enough on the bigs.... got plenty and more some....

idk what we can do to improve ourselves... the lack of scoring from both the individual player and the system approach is so clear as ****... how hasn't Nash been shown the door idk...

where are the assistants in this ??? Vaughn never had a stupid ass offense before... say something!

Would have loved to be able to sign the dragon but we just simply don't have the roster space.

In an ideal world we cut two of Carter/Brown/JJ but I don't see it happening.

We really should have made another trade to create more space.

I don't get what the problem is with cutting Brown, Johnson or Carter.

They have been terrible. If we get somebody good off the buyout then cut them immediately.

I would cut 2 of them immediately. Convert Kess. And look to sign Dragic.

If not Dragic then Gary Harris.

No need to have a meeting with him then if we can’t sign him. Nets met with him which means whatever moves have to made, will be made to make room. Whoever gets Dragic will be the odds on favorite to win the East…. Between Bucks and Nets.

I think after a tumultuous first half, we will look to come out firing on all cylinders and expect Nets to get Dragic.
Also, please note the article says Nash registered KEY PIECES, in other words, we are the favorites.

Is it just me whos not really sold on Kessler Edwards?

His 3 point shooting has fallen to 33%. And he often looks lost out there.

I'm not all convinced that he can be the floor on a playoff series. And would frankly just rather have Brown or Johnson.

I don't really see the need to convert him and lose one of those guys.

Hoping we drop Carter and can sign Dragic.

Still think the Bembry move was a huge mistake.

Kessler would be a lot better if we were at full strength, where he'd get good open looks. I wouldn't see him getting a full contract tho if we sign Dragic.

Dragic is a very important piece. Just keeping him off the Bucks will pay dividends. Bucks are the team to beat and strengthening them further is the step in the wrong direction. His role is a current weakness in their roster.
