is most feared opponent right now. If only we had Joe healthy, than we would just steam roll any team out there. Spacing and elite quality depth is unfair .

It was sooo terrible. Nearly everyone he picked in the off-season has been pushed out of the rotation. Still some needs/fit questions.

No, if you really think of it, you just setting Harden up. You pretty much asking him to throw him under the bus. Marks will never do that, he'll just dance around with politically correct words.

Media on the other hand will do just that. So if anything, SAS and Skip is your guys to listen to.

Before anyone assumes it's my prediction for PO line up, let me stop you right there, it's not. Just to finish regular season. A lot will depend on mandate before I'll call my PO line up.

I don’t think Harden has anything to do with that questioning tho. Drummond wasn’t a Nets guy at his buyout and was a vet min in the off-season. Carter was traded for but barely played before the troubles, then cut. He should’ve been moved well early into the season. Bembry did well here but he never fit and was ultimately cut. James Johnson was kept but now again end of bench, if someone else is we like on the market is available he is likely the guy to be cut. Bruce can’t shoot. He’ll always be a niche player. Paul and Blake were done early in the season. They should’ve been moved immediately. Blake is still in peoples mock rotations but Kessler clearly will get his spot.
Only way Harden is brought up is a scapegoat for “bad vibes” for like a week. Instead of the terrible job he did. Of course he wouldn’t say he did a horrific job the directly caused the greatest trio of all time to split. Harden has nothing to do with why all the role players at the start of the season have been removed from the current rotation.

Media also definitely won’t be covering something as intricate as role players in roster construction. Maybe as a whole for a solo star. “Those guys around him” style. But for a super team not at all. The narrative for multiple stars together is how they fit together. That’s rarely actually a problem. Certainly not on any of the Nets trio. Perfect fits for their stars. Who you put around them is the only real concern. Who is going to space/defend/rebound for them.

Did you type this with straight face or you just trying to troll me . He has everything to do with it. If not sole reason why so much D players were added or how this trade went.

You have to give Marks credit. He managed to reshape this roster on the fly and the upside is enormous if we can stay healthy and get Kyrie back.

If Joe Harris can give it a go, I think the roster not only has become Kyrie proof, but NASH proof.

Well, if you want some optimism, you should have paid attention to Kyrie's twitch video last night. He said we watch our team after the All star break is finished in full confidence. I could see a relation there and this could be the "news" of the drama finally coming to rest and Kyrie being eligible to play. If that is the case, it IS ALL ON KYRIE after this. I really pray this is the news not because of him playing but because he will find another excuse to take more time off.

News kyrie being able to play is the single best news we can get.

People pile on about him taking time off but it really isnt accurate. If you remove the time he took off for his kids birth (Which was less games then milsap took off this year BTW) and KOBES death that leaves you with 3 games he missed for personal reasons over his 1st 2 seasons. And given the climate and what was going on (in minnesota and the january 6th thing)its not complete unheard of to sit out in protest.

People make it out like he is missing 2-3 weeks at a time because he wants to stay home and read illuminati conspiracies.

Pre-nets he missed less then 1 game per season for non-injury related days off.

The real issue with Kyrie hasnt been days off for personal reasons. It is that he doesnt disclose why he is out which leads to speculation and media calling him out. only to find out later it was something like the birth of his kid. but for 6 weeks after he is out we hear all kinds of media nonsense about fake reasons why.

Kyrie doenst owe anyone to disclose family or personal stuff. it would likely make life easier, but from his perspective, it doesnt seem to bother him that he gets hated on

According to Ramona Shelborne, Ben wont play this week. He will ramp up this week then be revaluated. She did say "weeks not months" so the assumption is he will be on the court before the playoffs.

Ben needs to take as long as he needs. he is our future at 25. I'm not messing with him.

Getting KD back is more of a priority. Both Simmons and Dragic will ramp up and probably hit the court around the same time.

We have about 20 something games to develop chemistry. It's going to be a difficult road.

I dont think Chemistry matters much. everyone we are adding adds a role and is super portable. Like Curry/Drummond fitting in day 1 was no surprise. chemistry will help but i dont think its our biggest issue

Winning games is. I'm not convinced we will be a top 8 team. which means a 1-game playoff and i dont think nash wins a 1-game play in, especially vs the wiz, who nash already cant seem to figure out.

Unless marks announcement is nash is fired, this year looks like a wash

I think Adam Silver and The Nets brass are putting pressure on Adams to fix the mandate. The NBA wasn't going to wade into this issue a few months back but now is the perfect time.

I've got to say, i'm not a fan of Adams for a few reasons (I think he's a complete tool), so I don't have much hope of him caving in. I think the league needs to say screw it, let the Nets break the mandate rule and pay the fines under the pretense that it is utterly nonsensical to allow players like Justin Holiday to enter Barclays unvaccinated while Kyrie cannot.
