First domino to fall. Now, we need to see if Joe can give it a go.
Either way, we will be at full strength. We just have to find a way NOT to fall any further as we wait for KD, Ben, and Dragic to ramp up.

So are we going to win games finally? Don't win much even with Kyrie on away games....
Kyrie has zero leash IMO for getting a pass for failure once that mandate is lifted.

Let NYC due their due diligence before uplifting the mandates... we speak as fans to see a rush in decision making just so a dumbass can play before its too late for our team championship aspirations.
The Mandates were created to help and aid save lives and prevent unrecoverable spread of the virus. The mandates helped worked! THe rates are low in part of everyone's actions to be vax and adhere to the protocol as much as possible....
they can't risk undoing everything they worked hard for just to make appeasement.
Rates are low, and if it looks good, then let there be freedom!

Even if mandate is repealed Kyrie won't be able to play in Canada.
So if they end up playing the Raptors he won't be eligible. Will be interesting to see if that comes into play.

They are going to ease restrictions as the city hits specific benchmarks, which is the correct and measured response.
Adams is a tool, but I absolutely agree with using scientific data to drive when restrictions are lifted. I predicted the mandate would be lifted by March and we are headed there quickly.

We would need to ensure we maintain homecourt in the play in round. What a mess.

I was with you on that prediction.. Harden should have hung on. I wonder what changes Marks would have done at the deadline if Harden was still on board. Got the what ifs...

It was only a matter of time. Still unclear on exactly when, but it seems a lock it will be before the playoffs start, which is huge. Enormous news for the us if he is on the court full time in the next couple of weeks... we need wins and we cant afford to be missing 2-3 stars the rest of the way.
Ben and Kyrie should give us enough to avoid another long losing streak. Hopefully it isnt too much longer. Dragic/curry/drummond isnt enough to win with nash as coach. we need at least 2 of the big 3 to beat anyone at this point

I understand the ramp up process is crucial, but guys like Ben and Dragic should have at least been keeping themselves in shape enough to be acclimated to game time speed in a fairly short time. We need them to play. KD is a little different because of the ligament sprain. If we can get Ben, Kyrie, and Dragic back asap that will keep up afloat.
This situation sucks but if we can just hold on, who knows what may happen.

Irving is not a resident of New York City.
https://www1.nyc.gov/site/doh/covid/covid-19-vaccine-workplace-requirement.pageThis private sector workplace requirement does not apply to the following:
People who work alone — at home or otherwise — and do not have in-person contact with co-workers or others in the course of their business.
People who enter a workplace briefly for a limited purpose, such as to use the bathroom.
Non-NYC resident performing artists, college or professional athletes, and anyone who accompanies them.
The NBA needs to take the city to court if they are going to play this stupid ass game.

Exactly. This is why I said the whole situation was bull from day one.
We truly allowed DeBozo to ruin this city with nonsensical stuff like this. He should be dragged back on a podium to explain why he never once addressed that stupid loophole.

I think he avoids this under the exclusion you stated. He wouldn't be able to practice otherwise.

The loop hole is dumb. Either you ban all unvaccinated players, or none at all. If it was the former, I wouldn't say anything. But it isn't, and it's not only unfair, but it has given opponents a competitive advantage all season long against us. This has gone on long enough.
It was absurd that an unvaccinated player was allowed to play in Barclays two weeks ago but Kyrie can't.

Wasn't he only able to practice because the practice facility falls under the category of a private office?

Adams isnt going to get called out by Silver, then agree his mandate is wrong, then lift the mandate, but leave that provision for private stuff as is. thats just suicide
