Starters:
** Brooklyn **
Seth Curry
Kyrie Irving
Bruce Brown
Kevin Durant
Andre Drummond

** 76ers **
Benedict Harden
Tyrese Maxey
Mattise Thybule
Tobias Harris
Joel Embiid

Injuries:
Joe Harris - OUT (Ankle)
Ben Simmons - OUT (Ramp up)

This will be made out to be a bigger game then it is. If we beat them tonight it means nothing if we meet them again in the playoffs. this game means more to the trolls and maybe the players then it does the teams. Nets need this one more then Philly. it will be a circus around Harden and Ben and KD. KD/Ky/Harden dont seem to care about it from a rivalry thing... as much as the media wants it to be.

at the end of the day, we need wins...

Interested to see. earlier matchups no Kyrie. Last year they had no awnser for Kyrie... Thybule got cooked, harris got cooked, danny green got cooked. Simmons held his own but also kinda got cooked. and that was with no KD and no Harden

Kyries last 4 games he has been low-key nuclear. almost single handedly won vs miami. beat the bucks on his own. 50-spot vs charlotte. i think he keeps it up tonight.

Issue is isntead of nash hunting harden in a pick and roll to get him on Kyrie he will toss it to KD posting up harris and waiting for a double team while kyrie stands on the weakside.

I'm going to PRE-RANT about something the coaches will F up. its like a lock. they are too dumb to fix something too obvious

DONT CLOSE OUT ON THE HARDEN STEP-BACK

His shooting percentage on that shot is average at best and this year has been poor. let him hit 3 before you even consider doing more then weakly putting a hand up. cant give him 3 free throws.

Let him dribble 15 seconds off the clock and launch it an live with the result.

We will leave Danny Green wide open for three after three after three but with harden we will close out hard on him like its life or death.

SO DUMB!

Kyrie on Harden " i wish him nothing but peace and love". Squashes any idea there is bad blood. says they will still see eachother, still spend time in the summer, etc.

"I thought we were in a good swing, but everybody has their own visions starting off seasons," Irving said. "Everybody has their own visions starting off their careers and ending their careers. If that's what James wanted, then I respect his decision and that's just what it is. I wish him nothing but peace and love. We have a great friendship, but it didn't work out. I wish things could have been communicated better for all of us as men, but hey, no hard feelings here with me or anyone else."

Irving noted he believes Harden owed a clearer explanation to some in the organization, but he holds no hard feelings toward him.

"We're still in the same league," Irving said. "It's not like we're going to see him somewhere different where we're not going to see him again and we're not going to see him in the summertime. It's great for the league to build up things like this, but we have a group in our locker room that we just want to be mature about going into Philly and handling business and then moving on."

We need to stay home on their shooters. Don't sit there and overcommit to Harden or Embiid on the perimeter and give up wide open threes. Make them earn every shot inside the arc

I'm not feeling good about this one.

Will really suck if I have to see idiot Harden celebrating at our expense.

Need KD and Kyrie to go off. Defense needs to be manageable.

Sixers are not a great shooting team anyway. But please don't constantly leave open 3 point shooters.

I think KD/Kyrie go nuclear only because they know the win counts more than proving anything to the Sixers. Embiid/Harden are the ones who need prove they can win, not KD/Kyrie. KD and Kai are flexing the nice gold they won before while Larden and Embiid cry away and choke.

I'm just hoping James Johnson is good for once and puts James Harden in a triangle choke if he tries to act up.

Dre won't be able to slow down Embiid, and Harden will definitely be motivated to show us up in his new house. With the attention on those two and the way our defense idiotically over-helps, Maxey & Tobias will almost certainly get theirs, as well.

KD & Kai going off might not be enough... Curry & Patty must also wax hot from outside, and we need every opportunistic contribution from Brown & Dragic that we can get... Dre needs to stay in his role and go for 20+ boards... With LMA still out, hopefully Clax gets to make an impact on both sides of the ball... And James Johnson, well who tf knows...

issue is KD/Kyring going off we still lose half the time. because our coaching is too incompetant. Kyrie/KD average a combined 58 ppg. bu the nash -15 point handicap makes that a mediocure 45 points per game combined.

one or both need 40 points AND we need someone like curry or patty ot hit 8 threes.

Embiid is irrelevant on offense. his team has consistently lost year after year after year with him dropping 35+ and 15+. You dont win with centers being the focus of your offense. especially when they also need to anchor your defense. the more embiid scores the more i like our chances. Harden going off and their shooters getting alot of FG attempts would worry me a ton more.

LMA out is a blessing in disguise.

KD needs to put his big boy pants on and remind everyone he is the baddest mofo on the planet, like he did games 5 -7 in last years bucks series

Literally an offensive explosion is the only thing to keep Nash at bay. This man makes Lionel Hollins look like Chuck Daly for christ's sake!!

Dre doesn't need to slow down Embiid. He needs to rebound and clog the paint up.

Embiid could score 50 for all I care. Just don't overhelp and leave Harris, Green, Maxey etc wide open three point looks. Contested twos are a lot better defensively than wide open uncontested looks from 3.

Yeah... its similar with Embiid like durant

If Embiid scores 40 thats like 10 more points then normal. if KD scores 40 thats 10 more then normal. both and getting 30 points no matter what you do,

Danny green hitting 5 threes and scoring 18 points is +12. Embiid scoring 40 is just +10. Let Embiid get his. if you lose cause embiid scored 50, then tip your cap. dont get beat by Green and Korkmaz

One thing to our benefit. our stars will not be effected by the coverage or "bigness" of this game.

Kyrie was down 3-1 to a 73 win warriors team. He was in 3 straight elimination games in the finals. this game is like a YMCA pickup game to him. Same with KD. he went toe to toe with lebron in 3 finals. He aint sweating a regular season game vs harden.

im not sure its the same for their guys, who have had mixed success in big games. them losing would come with more bad PR/reprecausions/hot takes then if we lost.

I fully expect the Sixers to punish the Nets and dish out a few lessons. This Philly team terrifies me and I think we are overmatched.
