Huge win... Hawks loss helps a ton also. that said, another really poor basketball effort for the Nets. the Cavs played AWFUL but still had us on the ropes in the 4th. Discouraging play at the most important time of the year.

1) WTF is the scouting and strategy? they have ONE guy... 1 guy... one who can create a shot. We did nothing to force the ball out of his hands and he crushed us all night. most of the time they didnt even have shooters around him. they started to brick laying chuckers otoro/levert... yet somehow the one shooter they have, markannen, we consistently left open. Cavs had a small lineup with no spacing and 1 shot creator and we did nothing to exploit it

2) KD's turnovers are like all 100% avoidable. for such a basketball god it s an enormous flaw in his game that i pray teams somehow dont see. but its so glaring. come hard at him and make him a passer and its almost a lock to be at least somewhat successful. Dragic is so huge for this team. we need KD/Kyrie handling the ball less and being off ball scorers more.

3) Drummond was huge this game. his ability to make small teams pay is huge for a team that gives up so much in the coaching department. he was fantastic defensively as well. Drummond/this version of Claxton is a huge upgrade at center to what we had last year.

4) patty and kyrie are shooting a bit better but we need both to get back to their normal selves. cant bail out teams when you have an open 3 from an elite shooter. hopefully they turn the switch in the playoffs.

5) Someone said it above, but this was a preview of the playoff rotation. glad to see now LMA. im sure dragic will get some minutes though probably sporadic and dependant on pattys shot

We need to close this year out with a win over the pacers. i think we can still somehow finish 10th in a 4-way tie? Haliburton is an absolute stud and losing to the pacers would be so on-brand for the nets this season.

Where would we be without Bruce Brown. Pay him. He's so much better than he appears on paper , dude knows how to play

Joe Tsai is going to have to suck up that luxury tax bill. Brown and Claxton both need to be extended.

I don't wanna hear about Ben Simmons. Bruce Brown has turned a corner

Bruce browns turned corner is still Ben Simmons on a bad night. if Simmons is healthy he is a top 20 player and the leagues best defender.

Yeah but the guy isn't available and no one knows if he ever will be.

Heat are only team on better winning streak than Nets, and KD is the most unstoppable playoff performer since Shaq.
Nobody is in a better position to win the championship than the Brooklyn Nets.

For those who were complaining about the Heat/Nets game being flexed off TNT in favor of the Grizzlies-Celtics game.

Our final game tomorrow has been added to ESPN.
