Do we dare expect some adjustments? lineup change?

Gotta get back at Boston and hit them hard off the bat!

More Blake and Kessler please, and just have to hope that their occasional shots happen to fall. Even Dayron might be worth some minutes in the right matchups as a useful defender and rebounder, who could at least help keep Clax and Drummond fresher and more foul-free. (really wish Nash had given more burn to Griffin and Dayron this season, better preparing them for spot minutes in the playoffs)

So far we've played too many small guard minutes IMO, who keep getting bullied on defense by the bigger, longer, more physical Celts. Scurry, Patty, Dragic, Kyrie, and even Brown to an extent.

Also, I hope Marks contacted the league about how the Celts were allowed to play more physically and get away with it foul-wise. Maybe a fruitless effort, but still worth doing.

I wouldn't expect any lineup changes. Our bad stretches happened with our starters on the floor. Primarily due to KD struggling, Drummond not getting out on Horford, and that stretch where we kept leaving Smart wide open. We can yank Drummond early if he struggles but it's not like Claxton can play 42 minutes. The next step is starting Claxton and bringing Blake off the bench if Drummond just can't hang. I don't think we're there yet but Dre needs to bring it today.

Yea I'm definitely in favor of more Blake and Kessler... Blake for the obvious, Kessler for his ability to provide a potential more disruption on the defensive end... give him a shot and maybe the size will be a bit better to help defend against. Not to mention his motor to run the court hard and be a livewire rooster out there lol...

Drummond needs to be a positive, lets go big man!

I dont think the rotation changes. I love blake but 1 game doesnt mean yanking drummond. especially in a series where his added possession could be big. He was clearly fouled a ton on shoves underneath with no calls. inconsistent whistles on him cost us some possessions in a game that went down to the final seconds. He could just as easily go 20/20 tonight and put horford in foul trouble.

The biggest adjustment we can make is to make it so Kyrie/Curry dont play together as much. when they arent together our defense vs boston is better.

I expect nothing different from KD other then maybe making a couple more shots. but like 32 points on 24-28 shots with 4-7 turnovers is whats going to happen if nash doesnt adjust, and nash wont adjust.

The real fear is they shoot better then 30% on wide open threes and bury us. as is, they blew a 15 point lead last game. I think that tonight Ime will make some tweaks and they run us out of the gym by 20.

it will take an efficient 75-80 from Kyrie/KD to have a chance to win. they will for sure shoot better. role guys typically struggle on the road, not at home.

Boston isnt some great team, but they are a good, well coached team and overcomng nash's -15 is tough vs a good team

I agree with Curry/Ky... though they should be able to work together and fine to start, I think when Ky is resting that Curry should be on the floor more so to help out KD and provide that 3pt option.

Not trying to be a true Edwards homer, but I would look at him to play a huge role in spelling Bruce or Curry.

Run more Dragic and Ky backcourts too...

We triple (not a typo) teamed the post leading to an opponent 3-point attempt 5 times. 0 of those times was to triple team tatum (horford x 2, smart x 1, brown x 1, williams x1)

Do we really need triple teams?

Dragic was a +17 in game 1. we should consider swapping his and currys minutes. Dragic plays bigger defensively and gives us a real PG. he is solid from 3.

Celtics were awful with grant williams on the floor. -17. getting theis in foul trouble again could be important, or horford. Drummond needs to be active and draw fouls. We also need to play theis off with pick and rolls. Kyrie abused him.

Bostons bench is crazy thin. i know teams usually only go 8 deep in the playoffs but they dont even really have the option to go beyond that
