He was playing great and even found his 3 point shot before getting shelved. He’s a good defender of paint drives. But more importantly he is a great screener and knows his role. He can distribute and set screens. That was working. This is just Nash iso ball. There isn’t even screen sets for players like Mills being run. It’s sad.

Exactly!

Simmons or no Simmons. This man refuses to use guys who would actually excel in playoff situations and has proven to be a good matchup for guys like Horford and Theis. It is sad.

bull.

You need CHEMISTRY to PASS effectively without turnovers and with knowing the spots your teammates need or want the ball.

You need CHEMISTRY to defend effectively without fouling and knowing when to help, when to switch and when to go over a PnR or Drop Coverage.

You don’t roll out of bed not playing basketball for a whole year and figure that out successfully in a physical playoff series with a team he’s never debut for yet.

Can't believe I'm siding with Prok here  . For all that you said to be true, you need system in place. Since we ain't got one he can freestyle and still be effective. His game actually fits here flawlessly. Everything he does and wants to do makes this team that much better. Pushing ball creating fast break points will be game changer for us, and that's without mentioning his best ability, which is D. Taking on Tatum or Brown will allow KD concentrate on offense more. Perfect fit anyway you look at it.

Dragic can take rest of them minutes. Patty unplayable right now. He getting exposed big time. Anytime he's on the floor we get smoked ( sorry to through him under bus, its just obvious ).

I agree but we’re truly gambling with this man’s health. Going out there unprepared could lead to a worse injury and we’d end up the laughingstock of the league, if not worse for it. Teams will get physical with him too.

I think it’s simply best to just add him in with the most practices possible.

If we can’t get a win against Boston at home with the same damn team that got us here without him? That would say far enough about the entire team itself, regardless of Ben’s impact.

We aren’t not getting him at 100% at this point. I just hope it’s a worthy gamble for the short term instead of looking at next season and going forward. Nash needs to go. If Simmons goes over 30 minutes, I’ll literally go to his house myself.

It is streetball offense. We run zero off ball actions to free up shooters or create opportunities for backdoor cuts for lay ups. It's laughably so easy to defend because it involves guys just standing around on the perimeter watching isolation plays that are now being shut down by multiple lengthy defenders.

It is a joke that Nash is paid more than Ime Udoka. It is a joke that we let Udoka walk to Boston where he will now oversee Tatum and Brown in their primes.

Despite my disdain for how he handled himself, again I will say that Harden was right to want out. This situation is as unprofessional as it gets.

We went from being a good organization with an emphasis on work ethic and structure to an absolute free for all with no leadership and I blame Marks for allowing it and Kyrie and KD for pushing the team in this direction. The more i think about it, the more i regret them ever signing here. It's been nothing but drama and disappointment. Now we don't even have our picks for the next several years.

He expects Patty Mills and Seth Curry to keep Horford off the glass.

I hate Steve Nash so much. It is clearly obvious that his HoF success is due to D'Antoni because clearly he isn't the high IQ basketball person we were led to believe

We already are the laughing stock.

Numbers back up eye test. If Dre wants to come back next year as a vet min guy, fine with me, though I'd rather have Sharpe getting those min.

Nic earned prove me type contract. 3y 30m on TO 4th year sound fair. Doubt he'll getting anything better. Not for 35 maybe 50 game guy who needs right environment. I'd take Hayes from NOP over him if option is available, better pack him and Joe for Turner and call it a day.

Claxton and Sharpe should absolutely be the center rotation next season.

Don't forget.

The Bucks were down 0-2 last year vs us. They were down 0-2 in the Finals.

Raptors were down 0-2 vs the Bucks.

Everyone claimed those series were over too. Its not over.

As Nets fans we have to believe. Get game 3 and 4. Then its a tossup.

I've been a Net fan long enough to know that getting your hopes up is just going to make the inevitable painful.

Nash, Kyrie's absence, Harris getting hurt, Harden, KD's injury, Ben not being available...this season has been one disaster and disappointment after another. I have seen nothing that leads me to believe that we're coming back from this. Statistically, we are f*cked.

KD and Kyrie looked defeated after Game 2. Nash is clueless. I admire your grit, but this season was always meant to end this way.

If Nash won't get fired I'll troll this board so hard

It's fine, if he doesn't get fired after a sweep i won't be a fan of this team anymore. I'm sick of it. This team brings me zero joy. I haven't had any fun since the DLo/Allen/LeVert/Spencer/Harris days to be quite honest. At least we had coaching, structure and professionalism. This situation is a sh*t show and it's 100% on Marks, Nash, KD and Kyrie.

He's back will be reoccurring issue till he gets surgery. Herniated back in Lumber area for basketball player is definitely a concern. Only good thing here is that he's younger guy.

Than again I'm not a Dr and go by report that been out there. With today's Neuro and Ortho specialist I'm not even sure it's going to be an issue. Got my fingers crossed here.
