I dont expect anything other then a blowout loss.

its clear from comments the players have given up on this coach/staff and have no desire to fight for them. they just want it to end and it needs to end.

the have no desire to go back to boston and have racial slurs, violent slurs, and bottle hurled at them.

As long as nash is fired i dont care what happens in this game. if nash is fired, we become isnt contenders for next year. until that happens our championship aspirations will remain at 0.

As far as Simmons I have 0 issues with him playing or not and im surprised if any Net fans do also. He is returning from back issues and mental health issues. when he is ready, he is ready. and if he isnt 110% ready he shouldnt play. the 15-20 rusty minutes he will give us wont help a ton. coaching adjustments are needed. we wont get those with or without ben.

Ben has a clean slate with me whichs starts whenever he is ready. even if thats missing the first 2 months of next year. we inherited a guy with health issues. we accepted that risk. im not going to get upset for someone who isnt ready to play

The half ass effort given by the guys who mostly started and played this series on Saturday was the most disappointing fight I've ever seen.

Like our 12-70 squad would've worked harder than what these clowns did on Saturday night.

We've regressed since gm 1... it's astonishing, really. The thought is that you would get better or maintain the path but nope, it's legit dropping like stocks.

After that poor showing on Saturday, I have no reason to believe anything to be different. Especially when the clowns are already in care free mode and ready to chill in the offseason. That's probably whats ticking me off.... From Kyrie throwing in the towel after gm 2 by crowing the Cs the victors in the series and KD's gm 3 reaction.... they ain't wanting to win nor wanna do the hard work for it so I can't support that. at all. no one should. You can't cheer for that.

Maybe we'll win 4 straight but maybe its over tonight. If it's over, good riddance.

Either way, win/lose, **** play with heart.

I'm not even watching this.

This franchise is a disgrace from the front office on down. Wholesale changes are in order.

I'll watch to see the potential rock bottom/who has pride in themselves.

At the end of the day I'm a Nets fan and I'm a loyal person so unfortunately I'm stuck with these guys and will support till the bitter end.

In some ways an L tonight(after being horrific at home all season), will be cathartic. All my anger will be lifted and clarity will set in.

Honestly, us winning and pushing this to 6 would be bad.

A sweep is the mostly likely outcome to get Nash fired. which is really what we need to ever realistically compete

yep. as bad as this sounds, it's better to lose tonight then give Nash any daylight. He has to go.

You could argue that Booker being injured has helped, but aside from Ingram, CJ, and Jonas, what other reliable vets do they have? They've got some good hard-nosed rookies. But most importantly they have a coach in Green that's actually using their abilities to the max. Really makes our situation look that much worse.

You'd think losing tonight would seal Nash's fate... but I saw my Yankees EXTEND THAT LOSER BOONE in the offseason....

i don't know wtf anymore with our Nets FO to think they would do the right thing anymore.

Marks has been MIA! where has this cat been over the last few weeks? exactly!(assuming he's healthy)

KD likes his coach.... so.... where's the heart in these dying times?

Disclaimer, we've all talked about and agreed the ridiculous high usage toll on KD in the last month or so... so he's definitely gassed out.

KD to me is playing with heart. he is a basketball player not a superhero.

Double teamed every tough plus 3rd defender showing isnt something that you can overcome with "heart" ... hell he even tried to take a backseat in game 3 to allow others to lift more. you can have the heart of rudy ruddiger but at the end of the day your not running through a brick wall.

KD liked harden and deandre jordan. where are they now?

Saturday Night was awful. He was awful. Careless with the ball, he showed more bite barking at his teammates for miscommunications than he did going up against his opponents. Constantly turned it over and was no where close to being a defensive enforcer. He was slow footed and played with zero agression on both ends. He admittedly admitted that.

He was easily moved away on screens and offered no support. He ball watched allowing some off rebounds go Boston's way. All that on top of playing another 40+ mins. Team can't recover that way. Lead by example... if you ain't grinding it out, don't look at the guy behind you to do so. Even he and Ky weren't in rhythm...

KD can't play with all his friends, its a professional league. Won't happen all the time... Jordan was a bum after BKN and Harden sabotaged this organization. KD has been given everything.... no excuses.

Being awful doesnt mean you played with no heart. OF COURSE HE WAS AWFUL. that is the only outcome when you play 1 on 3 or 1 on 2.5. of course he is going to turn it over, every possession he faces the situation he struggles with the most.

it has nothing to do with heart or aggression. he will never be able to beat 2 defenders + help waiting. ever.

At this point just end the suffering... This season has been off the rails from the start.

There's no cohesion, no plays, no energy... Nash did not develop this team one iota from Day 1 of this season.

Boston is better than I initially thought, but this was still a winnable series that Nash's season long actions have put out of reach.

If everyone on this board could see that KD was getting run into the ground how couldn't Nash???

If this is the case we need to blow it up.

-Trade KD for whatever pick/youth package we can get
-let kyrie expire. if he opts in, wait a year and let him expir
-evaluate 1/2 year of simmons. trade or keep based on what we see
-Keep curry/Harris. you need shooters no matter what
-Let drummond walk. pay claxton 4/40 or let him walk, let brown walk
-trade Cam for a future pick

This team will not win with nash no matter how good simmons turns out

this is awful news. how he can be safe after this season/series is beyond me. if KD is standing in the way, then bye KD
