Either way KD is a special player and your roster needs stability. We had major issues with team chemistry for what feels like forever and when that was addressed we finally started playing great basketball.

Keep your heads up and hopefully Marks is paying attention otherwise maybe a change is necessary

I appreciate the kind words.

That being said, I don't blame Harden one bit for getting away from this sh*tshow.

KD and Kyrie don't care about winning. They don't. They just came here to "hoop" without the pressure of expectations and having to deal with actual coaching.

Ticket prices have exploded. Are fans supposed to be happy about the fact that you made the playoffs?

These comments from Kd are disgraceful.

This was such a loss of epic proportions.

Both KD/Kyrie were exposed as the frauds they are.

Both have been advertised as the greatest clutch shot makers in the NBA.

Despite all our struggles, every game was close.

And besides Kyrie in Game 1. The two of them choked in all of the games.

KD was outplayed by a 24 year old. Kyrie was outplayed by a guy who didn't make the All Star team.

Both have done incredible damage to their reputations long term.

Nash exposed himself as the worst coach in the NBA.

And we are now the laughing stock of the entire NBA. Worse than the Clippers.

Couldn't be a more devastating result.

The right coach could turn this team around next year.

But I have no faith Kyrie/KD are serious about winning. So it won't matter.

Kyrie went nuts a long time ago. KD has no leadership. They are the worst combo of star players.

I miss the J Kidd days so much. Last time we actually had a team of winners who cared. Not this trash.

This is just Deron Williams/Joe Johnson Pt 2.

KD saying that with a straight face says it all.

"We didn't make any noise, but we got to the playoffs." Bruh... what? You've won a couple of championships. Since when is making the playoffs an accomplishment when a team has championship aspirations? What a **** ****.

Cheer up. You guys know the next time Nets meet the Knicks, it'll be at least 3 years since the Knicks won? We're such a fraud franchise.

Nets 110 - 106 Knicks

It doesn't get much worse being a lifelong Knicks fan.

EDIT: Damn, I might become a Nets fan reading this. I already stan KD, Kyrie, and Ben (in a creepy way) and Brooklyn is the best borough anyway.
F$+*k the Nets.

To Kyrie, basketball is just a job. He does not care. Kyrie reminds of Derrick Coleman. Let that sink in. Whoop di damn do!!

And KD?

This clown came here to basically ride out the last years of his career. He doesn't care either.

Joe Tsai is an idiot for paying out this much money for this crap.

KD is a control freak who wants to emulate LeBron's career in every way possible instead of having his own path. LeBron made some bad decisions, and he always likes to interfere with coaches and GM's, but atleast he always made sure that he had a competent coach, someone he can respect. KD definitely wants to win, but he has to do it his way, or more accurately-LeBron's way. That's his obsession.

The fact that he hired Nash based on his personal relatinship with him and ignored much more qulified people for that position is a sackable offense in itself. Just a pathetic decision.

KD gets swept and he immediately vouches for Nash in the post-game talking about how hard the season was for him.

Imagine MJ or Kobe getting swept in the first round in the prime of their careers and saying this. You can’t make this stuff up!

Nash was his hire so of course he's going to defend him. He lets him do w/e he wants with no accountability. "We don't need a coach".. I mean this right here says it all!

Don’t take this as an offense, but beating the Knicks is not a priority, given this squad.

With the talent we’ve had, we should blow most teams on a nightly basis, including the Knicks. We could’ve easily lost at least 2 of the matchups against the Knicks this season.

We play so far below our potential, it’s absolutely ridiculous. And with KD seemingly being blind to this or not really caring about it, it makes the situation all the more dire.

I didn't watch the game with full lenses but i followed as anyone would/could at the bar last night... how was the effort?

Kyrie? i saw the stat line and I'm like are you **** kidding? how can this clown not be relevant?

KD? saw similar body language but some improved energy....

Didn't realize Claxton is the new Shaq at the FT....

Nash can **** the **** off.... he has no place as a coach.

Blake played, and from reading, was the obvious positives he brought??!?!??! are you **** kidding Nash/KD/Ky?? CLOWNS!

But also read Blake was huffing and puffing.... do these guys really practice or not? how could be that out of shape!

The team needs a high end veteran PG, with ego, that will put Kyrie & to a lesser extent KD in their places. I don't know who is realistically attainable that fits that mold. They chased Harden out. CP3 would be perfect, but he's not available. The Cs won't deal Smart. Simmons doesn't have the mental make-up to survive conflicts with Kyrie.

Claxton was far worse than Shaq has ever been at the line. Blake was great. Yes, he was not in game shape, but it's hard to be in playoff game shape when you don't play for weeks to months at a a time. The Nets need more guys that bring fire like Blake & Dragic. Unfortunately, I see both walking to a better situation next year.

Big goal for next season:

Stop relying on these washed vets and start developing our youth. All the great teams do it. Look at the Warriors.

No more Blake/LMA/Drummond etc. I'm done with all of them.

I want Kessler and Sharpe both to be rotation pieces next year. Claxton needs to be resigned and start. Cam should get some run too.

If we need to add anything use the Sixers picks. Can probably trade for a stretch 4 or 5.

But no more of these ring chasers.

I read somewhere that the Nets would consider signing Melo. Its the last thing we should do.

Return to Brooklyn Nets
