Howdy, folks.

I come from POR to see what sort of interest your team might have in a deal centered around Ben Simmons and the #7 pick.

This past season was a disappointment for both our teams and this might get both moving in the right direction.

In addition To the FRP, POR could include Josh Hart, the Eric Bledsoe expiring contracts and a few other minor fillers.

Simmons is good enough to help a Lillard led team compete today, and young enough to lead a youth movement in the near future, assuming he plays at all with his condition. That condition is the only reason a player might possibly be available for that kind of an offer.

Hart is plug and play. The pick could be used to add cheap high end talent and hedge against the future.

Is the value too far off to haggle or might this be considered fair?

If we were having a fire sale to get rid of KD, Ben and Kyrie and starting over (which we are going to have to do anyway because this has been a disaster) i would say yes, but since we aren't I'd have to decline since Simmons fills a major need in terms of defense on the perimeter

Fair enough.

Sounds like the value isn’t too far off then.

No way.

What good is the #7 pick going to be with KD & Kyrie. I'll see what we have with Ben.

Not interested. Even if the Nets we're to blow it up and rebuild, they'll do that around the 25 year old Simmons. Simmons may actually be the least likely Nets player to get traded.

Fair enough. Hopefully he makes it back onto the floor next season.

Stay mad at Morey for treating your Simmons trade offer like s%#t , I thought plenty teams - yours included offered good trades for Ben but Morey wanted his Superstar and now he can die with that decision.

We can do much better than 7th pick. Just look up Ben trades. Also, if we get to blow up this team, need to start with KD/Kyrie package.

true you're right but with Ben sitting for this long and acting like a spoiled lil girl his value will get worst. I'm just annoyed with these guys at this point.

I won't mind if we get that young kid along. It's just our organization not looking to rebuild at this point. We can revisit this trade next year if we get smoked again, maybe than Tsai will see entire picture.

We honestly have to give Ben a shot.

I know I shouldn't look at it like this but, if we did do this trade we would have given Jarrett Allen, Caris LeVert and all those picks for a number 7 and Josh Hart and Eric Bledsoe. Ouch

I respectfully think it’s very far off.

To put it in perspective, I’m pretty sure Brooklyn could get #4 + Barnes from the Kings if they wanted to move Simmons, but I think the reality is that they don’t want to move Simmons.

I come again in peace.

So much turmoil from our perspective as outsiders. As BKN fans is this KI-KD-BS troika fixable or DOA?

If you would like to sympathize about the Kyrie situation, please do; but please do not come on our board trolling or anything of the sort. Had I went to your board and started something, I'd be banned. Please have respectful dialogue with fellow board members.

Kyrie is have his period right now and will most likely pull on us what he pulled on the Celtics Don't expect the core to be around much longer. It was a failed and unreliable experiment. We will most likely have to collect assets and rebuild organically.

Very disappointing. It was tough to be a fan of KI before this due to his various antics.

Sounds like the next week or so might be eventful.

Good luck, BKN fans.

It would be nice to route his ass to the Clippers and get PG13; to me PG13 is not only more reliable but I followed him in OKC and is a great two way player that actually believes in defense. He used to school KD on offense; getting PG13 would assure we would stay in contention. Q is can we convince the Clippers to trade PG13?
