Not sure how to feel about it. Tsai/Marks won for now, is it good though for long term run, I'm not sure.

Well I guess we'll see.

They must have discussed Kyrie -- but who knows what they decided?

I guess we'll find out soon.

I think the Nets have played this all as well as they could. If the team doesn't play well there will be a firesale but if KD is playing like an MVP it's likely the offers are better. And who knows? Maybe some good luck will finally go their way and it can be one of those years where they win 60+ games, have the 1 seed locked down, and can coast in the 2nd half to keep everyone healthy for playoffs?

I'd like to hear about an extension for Marks. That's the domino that will give the Nets maximum leverage in any trade talks going forward.

Huge W for Marks and Tsai.

They take control of the franchise back and Durant looks like a fool.

Hopefully him, Simmons, Kyrie can take basketball serious this year and realize how much talent they have.

Only time will tell.

Kyrie/Mills
O'Neale/Curry
KD/Harris
Simmons/Warren
Claxton/Sharpe

Let's see what this team is about.

Well, KD/kyrie seem like the type to also play games with the media; I won't be surprised to hear this was all orchestrated by the two of them to get the media buzz going and laugh behind closed doors while announcing to the world they will stay in the end..... It is not a coincidence how this whole thing ended. I think Kyrie/KD also hurt other teams in the process trying to disrupt their "team" chemistry and stir up stories..... The Nets and KD/Kyrie this time around CALLED THE LEAGUE'S/MEDIA'S BLUFF!

Wasn't sure how this whole scenario would conclude, but I'm honestly not that surprised this is the conclusion. Hopefully it works out for all parties involved. Let's play.

I still don't really trust these guys but whatever. Here's the full roster:

Kyrie / Patty / Sumner
Harris / Seth / Cam
Simmons / O'Neal
KD / Warren / Edwards
Claxton / Sharpe

Big hole is still at Center. I still think Blake Griffin is a realistic option. Demarcus Cousins still seems like a problem behind the scenes - but he's a bulky center that can stretch the floor a bit. His attitude might be the type of fire we need. Any other option has to be a trade. Not sure who's out there.

Not sure what the other missing piece is. I'm really hoping Edwards makes a big leap but a big wing like that is always good to have. I wouldn't be mad at Melo or Markieff Morris as long as they're OK with small roles.

Overall, I think the team is super talented but I'm not sure how it all fits together at a championship level without a true stretch 5. I do think Simmons/KD/Claxton on the floor together is going to be a nightmare to score against. Regardless of who else plays with them. The length, speed, and instincts there are elite.

This whole fiasco has been a mess but I still think this is a short term, wait and see type of thing. My guess is they told KD that Kyrie is fully committed for a year. We still have a contending roster. If things don't go well this year and Kyrie wants to leave, we'll trade you in the offseason and our asking price won't be nearly as high.

Really great that there is resolution with over month before training camp. Now the noise can die down and the team can just be about basketball.

Also a good sign that better heads can prevail between KD, Marks and T'sai.

See y'all back here next offseason! (Only half joking)

Rosters looks great except for Center. I really don't think we need to anything else.

We definitely need another backup big man. And I'm not sure why this wasn't addressed.

At this point Hassan Whiteside might be the best option. I'd take him for minutes if Sharpe does not look ready.

Eh, forget Center, we need another wing that can shoot efficiently, Melo fits that bill and if we can somehow get Cousins, he adds another mid range player that can help alleviate any loss with Aldridge/Griffin. Sure, Melo cannot defend but gives you size at 6'7.

Windrem pointed this out just now but I think Clara Tsai had a big hand in smoothing things over. She was seen at the Liberty game awhile back talking with both Kleiman and Harrington.

Either way, I like the statement the team put out. The focus is on basketball. If KD, Simmons, and Kyrie give 100% this team on paper is not to be taken lightly

Yeah I don't agree. Shooting wings don't grow on trees and there are certainly none left.

Melo is washed. Black hole on defense.

You want better wing than develop Kessler and Duke into contributing players. Kess in particular can be a 3 and D wing this year if he keeps improving.

Cousins is done. Give me Whiteside for some minutes off the bench. We could do worse.

Yeah i think defensively we should be elite with that front court plus Royce on the wing.

Kessler Edwards taking a step forward this season is absolutely a necessity.
