There's a difference between saying "There are black Jews too" and saying "The only true Jews that exist are black". Few people would find the former to be a conspiracy theory worth combatting, but a lot of people would (and understandably so) have an issue with the latter.

As I have said before, the entire organization has significant problems at every significant level from ownership down to the management to the coaching staff to the players. At this point, I'd prefer new ownership, so that we'd get a clean slate at all levels.

Correct. Ethiopian and other African Jews do exist within the diaspora. The notion behind the latter of the two statements stems from an antisemitic extremist group called The Black Hebrew Israelites.

I'm not going to go into a deep dive into their appalling beliefs and violent, hate filled rhetoric, but I speak 100% from experience because I know people from my old town who fell into that stuff:
