GT: Nets @ Wizards 12/12 7pm

Post#1 » by MrDollarBills » Mon Dec 12, 2022 11:09 pm

Helloooo mods Rich and Nyce are you guys okay? Blink twice if you're okay. Scream once if someone has you trapped in a basement with a gimp and a set of ball gags  :-?

We need to have the new game thread stickied, the board is kinda cluttered right now.

Anyway, we're -6 favorites in this game and we should be 100%. Let's see how the team responds after Patty, Kief and the kids pulled off an incredible win vs Indiana.

Ben looks good so far. Claxton with two dumb fouls early on.

Feels like Seth has been playing way dumber basketball this year. Very weird.

These stretches where we go like 3+ minutes without getting a decent offensive possession needs to stop.

Ball movement in the Cam+ KD minutes was off the charts bad.

KD dribbling air out of the ball = turnover

Our defense is so basic, its kind of impressive how often we completely mess it up. 2 possessions in a row where Seth and Joe don't know whether to switch or not. Like how? We literally switch those every single time.

JV was supposed to be our defensive coordinator. Did anyone replace him? Did we add anyone after Nash left?

We gotta talk about that zone at half time. Especially when Kyrie is off the floor. Those KD units looked lost against it too many times.

I swear when we go up 15, we act like we're up 35 and the game is over. So lazy. Guys start going for highlight reels and daggers. No excuse for us to not be up 20 going into the 4th.

It's treading water which is what you want, but I don't love the Kyrie-Curry-Thomas-Warren-Claxton lineup.

So much length and foot speed in this KD/Yuta/Ben/Clax/Kyrie lineup. We could get killed on the boards but it's hard as hell to score on.

You can tell JV ain't happy how they closing game out.

Not having Joe being abused on D late in the game is refreshing.

If Royce was playing Cam would be sitting and that line up looks a little better
