We are now 7th in Offensive rating, 12th in defensive rating.

We need to win tonight.

Interested in how Simmons/Claxton do. Need both to play at their highest levels (together) to win these types of games.

I think the most important thing is how the team looks. If it's the same old against elite teams (ISOs, can't rebound, turnovers, etc.) then that does make you question the playoff viability of this roster.

No Middleton makes it imperative we win.

Pack the paint for Giannis and make the other guys beat us.

Its a big test for Vaughn today.

This is a big reason why Nets have wanted to keep Simmons. His ability to guard the apex wings/players in the league.

Win or lose, he has to show something here. In preseason he showed flashes of being able to guard Giannis and he should be relatively healthy compared to earlier in the season.

Giannis + Lopez is a huge front court and could expose the lack of size/girth but the Nets matchup great everywhere else.

I don't think that we should concede uncontested 3s. That's how we get in trouble versus these good teams.

Feeling good about the team again. Hope we can see Ben continue to fully blossom here back into the monster that he can be. Does he seem like he's regained a lot of lost confidence at least?
Any word if Kyrie is playing tonight?

and I miss Brook Lopez... happy he's done so well since departing.

When Ben on the court entire team has positive +/- from top to bottom. Most impressive for me is this pairing

Somehow they manage to make timely 3's and keep game in reaching distance. Of course it's all start with Giannis causing havoc in painted area. If we keep him in check ( we best shot blocking team, but 29th rebounding one ) and force like of Boby Postis and Javon Carter shoot long 2's, than they in trouble.

Ben will be crucial today. They have no one beside Giannis to create offense consistently. Reason they be having very up and down games.

Like I said, it all starts and ends with Giannis with them. You get him to have mediocre game and that's a blow out for sure.

Ben has looked better and better with each game. He looks really comfortable

I feel like we're playing into their hands by packing the paint though. We've beaten them before despite Giannis playing well, but it starts with not giving up the three point line.

It's about knowing their personel. Their only great shooter is Middleton who probably won't play. Everybody else can be left open for a moment. Bucks will pack the paint for sure, and Nets have much better shooters. Claxton as a rim protector will be key to stopping Giannis. He needs to find a balance between defending the paint and staying close enough to Lopez.

It's a death sentence !!! We shooting lights out from 3 lately.

I more worried about Nic, Ben and Royce getting us into foul trouble while two out of three liability from the stripe. Giannis is celebrity and he will get celeb calls. Somehow someway them 3 need to keep him in check and force him to be a jump shooter.

Their roster is mediocre to say least, I'd call them trash, damn all of us will if they'd play for this team.

JV needs to exploit their weakest point, which is guards. Jrue will have his day cut out for him dealing with Kyrie. Bum azz trash like Carter, Allen and that D league bum need to be exposed period.

Kyrie has to fight through those screens, getting switched onto Giannis isn't ideal.

They have to look for Royce. He has driving lanes they willing to give.
