Does Spence and DFS play ?

No. Yuta and Seth are both out as well with Kess traded.

Ben / Sumner / Dru Smith
Cam / Mills
Joe / DDJ
Royce / TJ
Clax / Sharpe

is the rotation tonight.

What? BFleurantin on ND wrote at 1PM that they'd be live.

Also, I know that most vets can pretty-easily fit in to any system, but it's always impressed me how well most vets can show up on a day's notice to a new team and frequently look like they've always been there.

Hope the same happens tonight..!

this is just speculation but i think vaughn wants to keep cam's usage high and not screw with it. last game before the deadline, heavy underdog either way, let cam keep running things without a veteran pushing him back to the bench.

dfs would be nice to have but cant split the baby by awkwardly playing 1 guy and not the other. plus simmons back. this is his and cams chance to make a final impression on vaughn and the org before they make whatever decisions in the next 48 hours. the minutes and the opportunity for them are there if they can seize them. as much as it's just 1 game it's still a chance for them to step on the court with uncertainty/attention on them and show they can handle that and compete against a good team. that's what the playoffs is.

This is so much better. Meanwhile, Dallas can have fun answering questions about why Kyrie deleted his fake apology about antisemitism and is spreading videos on IG of Jason Whitlock blaming single Black mothers for Tyre Nichols being beaten to death by cops.

Anyone who says that the Nets got the raw end of the deal by getting Spencer and DFS is in denial.

i give kyrie credit for 1 thing, it's amazing how reliably he does stupid **** and creates needless distractions. i'd have humorously set the over/under on 24 hours before it happened in dallas for the first time and he somehow still hit the under. he is a first ballot gold jacket platinum bust distraction.

If KD is truly sulking about this manchild bailing on him, he really doesn't deserve to win another title. Meanwhile, Spencer and DFS look and sound happy to be here and hoop.

I don't think we can win a title, but we could still be a highly competitive team with this roster. I'm rolling with who wants to be here.

i think KD is probably just as relieved Kyrie is gone. I think his issue is purely whether or not the team is good enough to win a championship.

we obviously don't know how KD feels about simmons, but im sure he's communicated it to marks, so i think this deadline is basically marks' last stand to do what he can to get KD to a place to feel like the roster around him is good enough.

begley mentioned the nets staying in contact with the hawks re john collins, at an absolute minimum i expect a deal like that to go down. maybe harris, sharpe, and a frp for collins. or maybe they prefer to go for poetl.

but before that i imagine they are going to do everything they can to shoot their shot with siakam since he's the guy who could legitimately move the needle.

Still tight that JV didn't play Din and DFS. Even if they traveled, you shouldn't deprive the fans of seeing how new players mesh in a new system.

This is the sort of game where getting 20+ from TJ off the bench would be huge

This dumb ass zone is instant buckets for the other team. So unnecessary.

Sign me up for that Bridges as a centerpiece in the KD trade.
