Embiid is questionable. So we may have a shot at winning.

Excited for this new look team but ngl, still stings like f*** losing Durant. I'm not over it. Still can't believe our dreams of winning are back to 0%

maybe but if our dreams of winning hinged on kyrie what were our realistic chances? 1 in 10 this year and then 0 after that because rightfully the team was sick of kyrie's insanity?

without kyrie i still think there was a chance of winning but it was lower - so was a 1 in 20 worth passing up one of the biggest (arguably biggest) trade returns ever?

i wish kd thought he had a shot with the group post-kyrie and wanted to see him stick it out but this was the safer path for the nets. if he puts up another playoff stinker this offer wasnt going to be there in a couple months. or if he gets hurt. onward.

surprised they arent giving cam t another start and maybe also a bit surprised dfs>oneale, but this is also probably their "big" lineup.

They're playing the 5 best, but Vaughn can sugar coat it as wanting to see how the new guys fit.

I’m good with that lineup. Cam Thomas is a 6th man microwave guy. He’s not a consistent starter imo.

I have this spooky-good feeling that the Nets are going to go in to the postseason as the team that nobody wants to play in the East.

I'm not convinced that the title chances were ever really more than 0% with KD & KI.
Those guys just always found a way to bork things up, one way or another.

I can't think of a lower circle of Purgatory than being stuck riding with those two aging, injury-prone divas for 3-4 more years, every season crashing out early.

Embiid probably makes this the toughest matchup possible for us. Should be interesting.

Haven't been this excited to watch the team in a while.

Also in so far as Thomas being on the bench, I think its fine. Keep his legs fresh for the 4th and hope that he improves on his decision making. He struggled mightly in the last game, but late he actually did make a couple of good decisions. If I'm Vaughn I show him those clips and tell him those were his best plays.

Feels good to have sane people on this team. Also feels good to have a young team again.

Yeah. Cam just needs to learn not to force it. The fact that teams know that he can score can make it easier for him to make plays for others.
