GT: Nets @ Rockets- 8:00PM- 3/7/23

Tonights game against the Rockets is the first of a five game road trip. We really need to win this one. After the Rockets we face the Bucks, Wolves, Nuggets and OKC.

It would be good to see Nic get more involved in our offense. I read Nerlens Noel will be with us tonight, it will be interesting to see how he does.

Ben Simmons is out tonight with back and knee soreness. Does anyone have a timetable on his return?

No timetable. He first had to have his knee drained & a PRP injection. Then he had back soreness & an MRI revealed inflammation. I can't see any way he joins the team on this road trip (hence the Noel 10 day signing).

I think Ben should just be shut down for the rest of the season at this point. Not much time left and I think the coaching staff has to recalibrate the way they're using Ben over the offseason anyway.

We need this win and continue to keep pace for 5th. It’s still available but this is the last ‘winnable’ game for awhile.

what I'm looking for tonight is consistency and stable play. I know that might be a big ask, but look at the last 2 games. Huge comeback win v Celtics... that stuff happens for us once every few years. Hornets, blew massive lead.

Can we show some consistency this game? Come out strong each quarter and maintain our style of play?
Mikal has been balling and it seems like the team is gelling a bit here.

Clax needs to wake up. Sengun is talented, but he shouldn't be scoring at will when Clax is at his best.

Man we really found some hidden gems in Cam, Yuta, and Sumner and we're about to run them out of town this summer. Such a waste.

It's the problem with a 3s heavy approach. Teams can be very streaky, and fall way behind before they're in a rhythm.

Cam being out of the rotation is dumb af though.

Cam should just get traded in the offseason. I don't see his playing time going up anytime soon.

Unfortunately he's still on a rookie deal so maybe he's moved for a pick
