GT: Nets @ Bucks- 8:00 PM - 3/9/23

Post#1 » by Stone » Thu Mar 9, 2023 2:22 pm

We gave the Bucks a good fight for 3 quarters the last time we went up against them. The win against the Celtics has given us confidence that we can beat the best of them on the road.

It was good to see Nic get more involved on the offensive end and we are going to need more of that tonight. Not sure what is going on with Cam Thomas, scores 40+ points three games in a row and now he is not getting any minutes?

The team is throwing this game away to keep guys fresh for Minny on the second half of the back to back. I expect limited minutes for Mikal.

I presume the need to get the new guys integrated was priority #1 after the deadline. I'm also guessing he and JV might be slightly at odds these days.

Tonight should be a nice opportunity to get him back on the floor, though. Some fans have mentioned him as a potential throw-in in summer trade talks, but I'm not down with that at all. We have him for two more seasons after this one, and I'd love to see if he can develop his game further.

I don't know why we are just throwing this game away.

This team is full of young players. They don't need rest. This is just dumb.

We need to compete in every game.

It's a travel b2b and the Minny game is by far the more winnable game. I'm good with it.

The NBA needs to fix their scheduling IMO.

If anything let them get some run and have a minutes cap if you must rest them for the b2b, but having them sit is just dumb.

No jrue Holiday either. Would have actually be winnable. That whole approach is dumb. This could easily be a firstround matchup. It's like we tell our players right now, that we can through the towel if we meet them. It's Not winnable anyway

Nets gotta healthy roster full of young players, but they treat them like they’re 20 year veterans needing rest .. basically telling their players “we can’t win this one so rest up extra for the next one” umm aren’t they supposedly fighting for a playoff spot ? Such clowns smh

He’s trying to protect cam by starting Curry instead. Sure. Sure.

JV literally just said that he’s bringing cam off the bench because of matchups. Because if he started he would have to guard a starter. But curry guarding Middleton or holiday is better lol. Curry is going to get posted by holiday all game

I saw that. I don't think I'll be watching much of this, if at all.
