Making a wins poll against the Sixers. Anybody know how to post this?

Post#1 » by gigantes » Sat Apr 8, 2023 1:16 pm

Here's something I tried to post a couple minutes ago. It's a poll about how we'll fare against the Sixers.

If you can figure out how this shizzle works, feel free to post it yourself, making the changes you wish.
(we're all Nets fans here, so rock on)

SUBJECT: We play the Beardly Process starting April ~15th. How will we do?

POLL QUESTION: How many games will we take off the Sixers?

POLL OPTIONS:
Place each option on a new line.
You may enter up to 10 options.

- We lose 0-4, after a season of 45/46 wins, oddly about the same finish as last season.

- We somehow grab a game, kinda miraculous after after going ~.500 since the big trades.

- Holy heck, we somehow grab TWO games, daggit! Is someone not "processing" as well as they could be?

- We fight a miraculous fight, but lose 3-4, and accidentally expose the Sixers. It seems they're still not really a contender.

- Embiid gets injured (not a longshot, actually) and somehow our collection of parts overcomes their collection of parts... barely. OMG, Nets win! :D

- Holy Cheesesteaks, Batfang! Somehow, someway, we knock them off 4-2!! oO

- The #3 seed takes a single game off the #6 seed, and the bookies lose millions of gold bars. The sounds of machine-gun fire & limbs being snapped can be heard around the country for weeks afterwards. (assuming that's anything new)

- Out of nowhere indeed, the Messiah chooses this opportunity to come back, publicly anointing the BRK Nets as the "chosen people." Nets win 4-0, and every game after, capturing the 2023 trophy with ease. (on a side note-- MGrand and MDB realise that they now have the power of flight, upon waking up the following morning)

POST ATTEMPT: "You have tried to enter too many poll options."

PS. I already voted too. That's 'cause I'm old and remember what Buck Williams, Sugar Ray Richardson, Daryl Dawkins and those guys did to the defending champ Sixers way back when......and because I'm an eternal optimist.

Actually, I predict a 5 game sweep against the City of Brotherly Love.

To me this is the most depressing playoff appearance I can recall. The nets are pretty much a gladiator getting thrown into the colosseum against a pride of lions and a bear, there is no chance of getting out alive no matter how well you do.

As it stands, I hope that we maul Harden into a terrible series and I have no ambitions further to that.
