Happy new year!
I think it's gonna be a very tough matchup for us. Patient, young, athletic, multi faceted offenses are our kryptonite, and similar to OKC, New Orleans has all that in spades.
I dint mean to overblow it, the resting of starters for Milwaukee seems to have really gotten under the team's skin. Immaculate vibes are gone. Win or lose, we've got to turn the page, and start playing for the game in front of us.
Let's go Nets!

You guys should deliver 10 lbs of fried chicken to Zion’s locker prior to the game.

We all know we need a win against a good team. If we could pull this one off on the road it would be huge.
Happy New Year all !

Actually we have two chicken references, which could be some kind of realGM record......
My guess is that Dangun was using artist license for the Pelicans as birds hence the Chicken.
Wingo's fried chicken reference was for Zions penchant for being overweight.

And our offense which is like a bunch of chickens running around without their heads.

Ever since JV threw the MIL game, the Nets have looked like a bottom 5 team

This is depressing. Not surprising, just depressing.
And it’s the same old thing once again as a fan… this would all be acceptable if we had our own picks. But you can’t chalk it up as growing pains and look forward to a high pick and a rebuild if they don’t at least make the play-in, because…
A lot of game left and a lot of season left though.

It has been a horrible slump. A crisis of confidence . We don’t have a J Kidd type of player that makes everyone better.
The only bright spot in this season is DayRon Sharp.
I haven’t noticed Joe Tsai at the games. When we had stars he was a constant fixture. I’m sure he is fine with the franchise value up 30 % over the few years. It would be nice if he showed some leadership, it starts at the top after all .

Looks like Zion delivered the fried chicken to the Nets locker room.
You guys are better than this stinker.

Honestly jarring how we became this terrible this quickly after a nice start to the season.
We look like a bottom 5 win team at this point. 25-30 wins.
Defense is horrific. Offense is non-existent. EVERYONE is basically playing like ****.
Its unbelievable.

CamT 0 points, Dinwiddie 0 points, O'neale 0 points... must be a new years hangover. But I'm not mad, I said several times we're a .500 team AT BEST ! Pelicans are a solid team. I hope we beat the Rockets tomorrow tho since we're handing them a nice pick after this season.

It's probably better this way. At least Marks will get the message that this roster needs to change. The start of the season was a mirage. No way the team could stay hot from 3. Or that Cam T would play like the second coming of Kobe. The offense is trash now with an even worse defense.
We have no present and no future. This is treadmilling

Would love to be a .500 team at this point. We have not played at that level for a long time now.

Harden trade is turning into the new Celtics trade.
Marks deserves to be fired honestly for making that trade. It was a high risk/high reward move but its unforgivable given the we somehow are in the exact same situation we were after the Celtics trade.
A bad team with no draft picks for years to come.

The Harden trade was not the mistake. It was the Simmons trade that was the mistake. A regular all star would have this team slightly above .500. Instead we got a scrub. Watford does everything that we expected Simmons to do (which wasn't much) and then some.
