Sean should have been fired just for giving Jaque an extension right away. He made sure his pals Nash and Vaughn were taken care of financially before riding off into the sunset. It was a deliberate move on Mark's part. Burrell or Ollie will most likely take over as interim. Now the team can focus on finding an identity and get some stability. This team still needs a lot of work.

Bridges tweeted Have Faith to NetsPress over X, so I'm not surprised and I am pretty sure the players were consulted about it. This iis more proof Nets are actually committed to Bridges.

This is just a distraction tactic from the real issue at the Nets which is Marks. Yeah and Tsai too, but you can't really fire an owner.
Firing JV won't do ****, but I think Nets might go .600 over March-April once other teams start tanking and save some face.

Make the play-in.
Prepare for the big fish offer this summer.
Build towards next year and the future finally.
Let's move on. Vaughn was dealt a tough hand after the upheaval of the roster.

Not at all, it was long overdue. The Nets did the right thing but the second right thing would be to can Sean Marks. Tsai has an affinity for Marks so I don't see it happening but I could be wrong.

Maybe, just maybe we can finally get some course correction now that the two headed Nash-Vaughn Era is over.

Chuck Daly once said "Coaches have a 2 or 3 year window" . The Nets organization gave him a fair chance. But after the Boston massacre last week and a few players/media chirping it felt inevitable. I thought that Marks was going to give him an easy out like he did with Kenny and Nash and let it look like he was leaving on his own. But everyone would have seen right through it, our coaching situation was beyond repair.
I guess it will Kevin Ollie as the interim HC?

Marks is a yes man to Tsai but I think it's clear Tsai is the problem all along.
Tsais ego led him to play hardball with some NBA superstars who are far far less replaceable than a random billionaire owner is, and ultimately its the Nets fans who have paid the price.
What a shtshow

I thought he’d be here until the end of the season. But that 50 point beat down was the straw that broke the camels back. Kevin Ollie will be the interim coach more than likely

I agree with that kinda. I didn't and don't hate Vaughn as a coach but sometimes a shakeup is what a team needs and it's easiest to can the coach. It was due imho.

Once bridges have that interview after the Boston game you knew he would be gone.

He was given the team this year from a fresh start; he had a chance to help them develop identities and team chemistry. It was obvious, based on expectations, it didn't work.

Well they were winning with 7/11, so it wasn't that bad of a decision. The problem was when they asked out, and then JV was coaching a new team that didn't get him the job
