I've watched Simmons since he was in Australian high school. I know someone who was his PE teacher in year 8. He has been uncoachable since he was a kid, she said he would not listen to any instructions from his junior coaches. He took his dads bad advice to shoot with the wrong hand.

Forget about shooting 3's, Simmons' number one issue is he is petrified of shooting free throws, so he avoids contact. It's why he cost Philly finals by passing instead of dunking on Trae Young. He knows he is shooting with the wrong hand but is too stubborn to admit he got it wrong. He would rather fail and sabotage the team than suck it up and work on his game.

I'm interested to see how long he can avoid contact this season. So far, we are up to about 200 minutes played since his last free throw. Does anyone know what the NBA record is? I can't find any records.
