We should make a trade

I think it's time to make a trade, even though this team has played well last games.I was thinking that we need a defensive man, but that can also scores.A guy like Ron Artest would be good for us.What do you guys think about RJ,Boone,Magloire for Artest and Brad Miller.I would not mind trading Carter for Artest and Miller as well, once Carter is not playing that great this season, with no D, just taking shots and missing almost all of them.

Why in the hell would we pick up Ron Artest? We don't need another G/F.

Getting Artest would probably require giving up RJ and taking back at least one bad contract from the Kings...
I don't see how that would make this team better offensively but they'd probably be more consistent defensively, oh yeah they'd also be one ticking time bomb waiting to happen =/

this is a dumb trade. why do we need to obtain defense and give away offense when we are at the bottom of the leauge in PPG. Plus your giving away RJ who is having a career year, Josh Boone is has been very good lately and who could possibly develop to be very good, and an expiring in Magloire. This is dumb.

Instead of creating a new thread, I figure I'll use this thread to make two proposals that make significantly more sense IMO:
1. Marcus, Wright, Magliore, Collins and a #1 (lottery protected) to Seattle for Chris Wilcox, Earl Watson and Damien Wilkins
2. in a 3-team trade
NJ Trades: Collins, Magliore and a #1 (lottery protected)
NJ Gets: Drew Gooden and Shareef Abdur-Raheem
CLE Trades: Gooden, Snow, Cedric Simmons, Ira Newble and a #1
CLE Gets: Mike Bibby and Kenny Thomas
SAC Trades: Bibby, SAR and Thomas
SAC Gets: Snow, Simmons, Collins, Magliore, Newble and 2 #1s

^^that 2nd deal has too many flaws..
Sacto gets back 2 expirings, a guy in his rookie contract and collins who expires in 09 PLUS 2 1st rounders for Mike Bibby and the chance to get 2 rid of useless players??
They're getting rid of a horrible contract in thomas and a guy who has been limited due to injuries the WHOLE season...
The 1st one is ok IMO... We get back a swingman that isnt afraid to take a shot, a big that would shine playing alongside Kidd and watson a servicable back up...

the first trade just plain out sucks and the second trade is alright but i wouldn't do it.

I like the 1st one a lot.
Watson would be great off the bench to relieve Kidd.
Wilkins would be greta off the bench as a 6xth man.
Wilcox would be a beast plaing with Kidd.
Only problem is it cuts into eitherr Boone or SWAT's minutes along with Boki.
