Our team is very irregular folks. With the coach we have, we are going nowhere. We are not a contender at all, and we can't really compete with the ones. This is hard to say, but it's tthe truth. So, i was think that rebuildind may be a thing for us to consider.
If so...what plans do you guys have for it?what players should we go after? Please, let me know.

here is my dream scenario. we wait until the draft order is decided and then we trade kidd carter and jefferson to teams for their lottery picks. teams that could possibly make a trade would be miami, nyk, lac, cha, uta and hou.

The thing with rebuilding is that it will be hard to start up. We have to ship Carter, Jefferson and Kidd out but we will be getting just as large and long contracts back.
It's better just to wait till Kidd speaks up or when his contract expires. Williams and Boone will be around 24 and we can progress around that.

Not yet. Rebuild offense around Boone and SWill, the way Krstic was used as a major focal of the offense. SWill is showing positive and negative signs, nothing out of the ordinary for a rookie, and Boone is looking better every game -- reminds me of Krstic when we saw his game improve every game.
A new coach might be needed for this to happen. We should have gotten Alderman when we could have.

Why what has Alderman done in Houston? NOTHING. Now i don't think we are a bad team, we are just an inconsistent team. The big 3 can't all add up to have 27 points in a game. At least one of them needs to get that alone. Once Nenad comes back ease him into the starting role with Boone and have S-Will come off the bench. I don't know why were sucking but this is what im thinking.

The thing with that is we get a year or two but he'd be sick of the youth and then his value would be low.

we can trade the big 3 to the lottery teams and have Eric Gordon, Mayo, beasly, rose at once a long with marcus, sean, boone and kristic would you that, i would, thats like a championship in 2-3 years but it wont happen
i can see miami doing it, NYK maybe with isiah if around, utah would

look at most of the tems in the East...besides Boston and Detroit...no one really has made real push to establish themselves...
Cleveland = Lebron....
Orlando has potential, but we've shown what we can do against them...
honeslty, as irregular as our play...on a good night, even w/out Krstic...this team can compete with anyone in the East...
Of course, competing and winning are two different things, but some fans make like we're in last place...I can appreciate the debates of rebuilding vs. trades...and where we should go...but there is still a lot of basketball to play and I can see Thorn getting his money worth no matter what the move is...
I question and probably view a rebuild as unlikely with us moving to Brooklyn in the next couple of years...that team needs a couple of real blue chips and a total rebuild is out of the question and very premature...

I'd rather have Kidd leave for nothing when his contract is up then trade him for garbage and one or two prospects who MIGHT turn into something...

Couldnt have said it better myself.
People used to consider Miami in that group but I think the results of this season speak for themselves.
BTW Netsforce who's that in your avatar?

I dont want garbage nor do I want the so-called "prospects"...
I want blue chips, 1st round draft picks and role players w. expiring contracts...if there arent any real offers w/ the combination of the above...which we havent really been offered yet...
Then YES, you definitely let Kidd finish his contract out and reap the benefits of an aging Jason Kidd (think fine wine)...
Though this is the first year I have worried about a trade demand coming from Kidd somewhere down the line...However, I do feel this is on hold and keeping his mouth shut for now is beneficial to both him and the Nets...
