TEAM BREAKDOWN

Here is the team breakdown of our team where we our advantages and weaknesses are:
Talent Level:
I don't think we have a problem talent I really do think our team is one of the most talented team in the NBA probably top 5
Coaching:
Here is one of our big problems. I think Lawrence Frank is not ready to become a head coach yet. He has a good idea to run a team but, there are times he doesn't know what to do in any sort of way. I think with more experience, he will be a better coach. I think we should sign Rick Carlisle and move Frank down to assistant coach.
Team Chemistry:
After Kenyon Martin and Kerry Kittles were gone, I think the Nets went downhill. The Nets have to trade both of them because we needed money or they did not deserve the contract they were asking for. So we have to make some adjustment like acquiring VC. Our Team Chemistry went down from there on. Even though the Nets acquired more talent than before, the players that we added does not match on how the Nets plays. That is the reason the Nets does not have a style.
Offense:
Perimeter Offense:
Our Perimeter is pretty good, but we do have some missing style like our Guards are way too slow and we don't have slashers. Yes, I know what your thinking, that VC is our slasher. But he is not. I think VC is waaay to slow. Maybe when VC was in Toronto he was a slasher. he was fast and he just posterize people every game but, the New Jersey Nets VC is very different. He moves in slow motion and do a circus lay ups. If we fill in a quick slasher like Monte Ellis or Kevin Martin our perimeter offense will be unstoppable.
Inside Offense
Here is our BIG problem we have no post player AT ALL. This is just horrible. This is the reason why we are a .500 team this year. We do not have a consistant scorer(Post Player) So we do not win games. You're probably asking yourself "why did we win games last year we had the same team" It's pretty simple the young core of big man last year grew to the next level and playing in a really high level this year. Like Dwight, Aldridge, Kaman, ETC. If this team can get a Pretty good Post Player we can be back to become a championship Contender again.
Defense:
This is what I hate the most on the Nets. The style on how we defend other team. It just gets me mad all the time. Our team does WAAAAYYYY too much help defense Lawrence frank has no trust on our bigs so we double team a lot of post player from the opposing team. Its just horrible because after we double team a post player they get an easy 3 point shot. Then we play wayy too much 2-3 Zone defense. The Nets gets wayy too scared of the other team scoring in the paint so we forget about the opposing teams perimeter offense. We don't have a bad perimeter defense but we are just way too loose on them and we don't pressure the ball handler's at all. That's why our full court pressure suck and our perimeter defense suck.
Bench:
Our bench in my opinion is great we have a complete deep bench. But, for some reason many people thinks we have a weak bench. We have a nice young core of talent and we have instant offense in our bench. I don't think it needs work at all.
Conclusion:
Our team is fine but, we need to make adjustment on our team chemistry for me I think we should try to acquire Jermaine O'neal for VC or (the trade that I like) Try to trade VC and Collins for Crawford and Curry. that Should give us inside offense and a quick fast slasher thats clutch what we need. And ohh yeah, We should hire Rick Carlisle and put down Frank in Assistant Coach.
