JASON COLLINS

lol, yeah haha here it is.
http://www.dailyherald.com/story/?id=117751.

so i was just surfing netsdaily when i woke up and i see Jerrod's post under "Thorn: It Takes Time" and omg i hope this is true

apparently they are in need of an interior defender so collins is on their list.

so i ask you, what are some realistic trades we could make with chicago about collins?

Do we really need anything the Bulls have to offer?
Get Gasol and put an end to this mess nothing more nothing less.

I would do one of these two trades
Jason Collins
for
Chris Duhon + Filler (Khryapa or Tyrus Thomas) Highly unlikely but possible

Jason Collins
for
Joe Smith

^^ i don't see them giving up tyrus for collins but if they do then SIGN ME UP! lol but i don't see them trading the former #4 pick in the draft for a man like jason collins.

and we would need to give up either RJ or Vince, i mean you have to give to get. so it would probably be somehting like carter/richard + nenad for gasol, that would be the basis of the trade.

Ben Wallace
Aaron Gray

for

Jason Collins
Jamaal Magloire
Bostjan Nachbar

Ben's contract expires when Kidd does and we already have no room for big name FA unless we do a trade so might as well pull something to atleast look like we are trying to win games.

Check out my topic, I gave you 2 possible trades without giving up either RJ or Vince.

giving up nachbar gives us no bench production.

It's not production when he's only scoring when we are down big.

How is that even remotely possible. You want a guy who was basically a former 2nd overall pick to be a filler for Jason Collins? Come on now. And the Bulls aren't interested in Collins. It was just Mike McGraw listing guys who could help the Bulls' interior defense.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

What about....
Bulls Trade: Deng, Smith, Griffin
Nets Trade: Richard Jefferson and 2nd round pick.

Slashing is a big problem for Chicago. Scoring is another. Defense is a third. Jefferson is good at all three.

A few years ago this trade was a hot rumor but Paxson passed for the usual reasons. With the Nets being as mediocre as ever and with Carter, Kidd, and Jefferson all alternating in rumors they may be open to a trade. The Nets are currently on a 5 game losing streak.

Jefferson's injuries look like they're in the past. He's played the most games for the Nets this season while leading them in scoring at 23.9. His rebounding numbers are low. I haven't seen too much of the Nets this year, so perhaps they are a result of him playing more minutes at the two. Regardless, it's time for the Bulls to stop being so picky and actually make a move.

The Nets need to start thinking about getting younger. Deng is only 22 and promising. He knows how to move without the ball and would flourish next to Kidd. This trade allows them to get younger without taking a step backwards. Smith gives them some front-court offense.

The Bulls hate to lose Smith, but free up minutes for their three young bigs.

I blame this on coaching.

The beat writer (McGraw) has a thing for Collins.

It's really him that seems to be interested. I havent heard that Bulls management is interested.

2 months ago, McGraw proposed Wallace & Hinrich for Kidd & Collins.

That was when Bulls still had Skiles. When Skiles was let go, McGraw brought it up again.
