Knicks Reasons
Like it or not, Knicks will never rebuild. That just is not what Mr. Dolan wants to do. Here, the Knicks get rid of Zach Randolph who has been nothing but problems since he has gotten here. We also take on a lot of salary. What else is new? This is New York.

Nets Reasons
Clearly, the Nets big three is not working. I think Nets fans are in agreement that Vince Carter is the odd man out in this situation. Nets have ZERO post presence. If anything, this is what Zach Randolph does best. Who better to team up with than Jason Kidd? He would fit in perfectly at the 4 alongside the shot-blocking phenom, Sean Williams. They also add another young talent in Wilson Chandler who can come off the bench with other young guys like Wright and Williams.

I was talking to one of my best friends who is a disgruntled Nets fan. He said he'd trade Carter for Randolph straight up without thinking twice about it. I said to him that I didn't think we were giving up quite enough which is why the pick/Chandler were in there. Let me know what you guys think.
