aft. After his first year at Uconn I thought he had the capabilities of this but he regressed years 2-3[he was injured and also overshadowed by teammates with equal/superior talent}. Hopefully, he spends the summer continuing to get stronger and expanding his touch from the line and skills on the floor--but he has been a pretty good surprise. I wonder if they used Collins at C and Boone at PF--maybe the D would be better? Sean Williams blocks shots but i think he would be best coming off the bench he s a bit small.

If Josh can bring his FT % up and develop a nice mid range shot he will have a long career in the NBA. I like his game. With Curly in Limbo it gave this kid a chance to develop and I see potential.

yeh we all know his fts are down...but the kid is filling a big role which is not easy to do at his age...big props to him...

If Josh Boone was hitting 70 plus at the line, he could easily be averging 18 and 10 as a starter. He would want the ball more and be confident getting contact.

I'm happy with the pick. I thought it was mostly just so Marcus would have someone familair on the team and adjust better.

Yea, Boone has taken Marcus's spotlight, I don't give a crap about Marcus anymore, he's clearly not our future.

how can you say that? have you seen this kid play when hes on the court? his ballhandling skills are amazing and he makes precise passes. His offensive game isn't bad either. I see him being a pretty good PG in the NBA. No J-Kidd, but a really good one.

to the Josh Boone thing. He can easily be at 18 & 10 if he shot 70% from the stripe like Universe said.

those are his stats from the beginning of the new year. Bolded are his points and rebounds with points at the very end and rebounds near the middle of the chart. As of the new year he is is averaging 11 points and 10 rebounds per. He is going to get better every game and every year. I am really excited for Josh Boone. He could definatly average 18-22 points and 12-15 rebounds per game in his prime. (with more experience comes a better offensive and defensive game and he needs to work on his FTs) Look at his career games so far. Doesn't everyone see something amazing watching him play? Fashes of dominence? He will definatly be a presence for years to come and hopefully for the Nets.

Boone makes me far less worried about losing Nenad, either to injury or to FA. He is providing interior offense and rebounding.

Of course I very much hope Nenad returns as his old player self ASAP, and then we can hold on to him.

He has good vision but he doesn't use it, this guy's in the mold of a Marbury, score first pass later, only without the talent. This guys shooting 28% from the field, he bricks wide open jumpers and can't finish at the rim, the only decent thing I've seen from him so far is his ball handling but what good is it when you can't score? Trust me I was excited as anyone when we drafted Marcus, but he's clearly showing bad signs of regression. We should trade him now before his value drops too low, if we're gonna package him for along with others for a big.

he needs to stand up and throw it down with some more POWER, and he needs to hit his freethrows. everything else is perfect.

yeah, I think he needs to finish at the rim more with power. Too many soft layups.
