Yeah, because that's DEFINITELY what the Nets need. Another SG and a young "1". Quotes around the 1 for emphasis.
Hell no.

I doubt that your team will get much better then this. Rondo is a much better point guard then Marcus Williams. Plus having Ray who is arguably the best shooter in the game on your team makes Carter unnecessary.

Trading Kidd = Rebuild , explain to me how taking on Ray Allens long contract helps to rebuild ?
Especialy since you still have Carter at the same position , cause right now nobody is taking Carter for anything decent .

You guys are probably right. Dallas would probably be a better option since they are in the west.

Dallas isn't an option. They aren't interested.

I don't believe that's true. Dallas offense would be much better if Kidd were running the show.

Believe what you want, but you're wrong. A little better? Maybe. But they would lose a LOT in some areas, if they had Kidd at PG instead of Harris. There is no question as to which PG is the most dynamic scorer, or has the better future, or is quicker, and so on. And it's not Kidd on any of those.
But the question wasn't "who is better" but rather "what do the Mavs want to do?" And that one is easy to answer: they said directly, they aren't interested in Kidd. And it has to be noted, since you probably don't know, the Mavs front office either tells the truth, or refuses to comment. That's been their consistent pattern for years.
Should I believe them or you? They say they aren't interested. I think they know whether they are interested or not, so I just think you are wrong.

throw in some draft picks and some cash and the celtics would get a good deal. the nets would get some young talent and i think that with ray would be in position to move carter or jefferson

I'd consider doing that .... but Boston wouldn't.
Depends on NJ's plans after a Kidd deal. Rebuild or contend with younger, more athletic pieces.

I have no problem trading Kidd to Boston but we would have no need for Allen. I don't think the Nets need to put themselves in that kind of roster limbo just to grab Rondo, who I like, but he isn't a big time prospect.
If you could swing Allen to another team for a few more rebuilding pieces I would sign up right away.

Agreed. If you have a third team that would give up expirings/pick(s) for Allen, we might have something. That said, I can't possibly see Boston messing around with what has been a winning formula.

Here you go genius. Yes team's GM's do lie and fairies and Santa Claus aren't real.

"The Nets are discussing a complicated three-team scenario with the Mavericks and Blazers in which Kidd would go to Dallas, league sources said."
