Odom can play SF, but they probably wouldn't mind shipping him out for a more traditional SF. If I was them, I'd look at Chicago about acquiring Nocioni.

I don't like Gasol but I wanted him here and we thought we had to give up Jefferson haha.
Even giving up Boone is a better deal because least they get a starting center instead of a third string PG.

Grizz get some cap relief and an even better shot for the top lottery pick. Imagine Kwame and Collins on the floor at the same time LOL. Great trade for the Lakers though...Gasol and Bynum will be a formidable frontcourt. They could go forward w/ the team as is or trade Odom for a PG or a traditional SF.

A 27 year old star big man for absolutely nothing.
This is not going to help us get more for Kidd.

I wonder if our Front office even made an attempt to get Gasol.
I seriously think we could've had him cheaper than JO over the summer.
I can't blame anyone but Rod for a missed opportunity like this.

This is messed up.
Kidd screwed himself here.
If he didnt ask for a trade, we could have done a better deal.
Kidd
VC
RJ
Swill
Gasol

Memphis is looking for salary dump + prospects/picks. We don't have expiring deal that LA had.

Uhh, no.
Bynum ain't going nowhere. The Lakers had to decide on Farmar or Critt, they are not trading both their future pg. Now that Crit is gone, Farmar ain't going nowhere either. They are in position to contend now and have the building blocks for the future.
