Make Kidd happy (ala Kobe Bryant)

Post#1 » by Da_Kidd » Sun Feb 3, 2008 2:40 pm

Get Jermaine O'Neal while value is low.

RJ, M-Will, Magloire and Nachbar to LAC
Cassell, Livingston and Maggette to IND
Jermaine O'Neal to NJ

Cassell bought out.
Feel free to add picks in.

Kidd happy. Ends career in Jersey.

Thoughts?

O'Neal could be out for the season so I'm not sure Kidd will be happy sucking hard for another half a season and then getting to play with O'Neal for 5 games next year before JBum gets hurt again...

But then again, what the hell, why not? Can this team get any worse?

Oh I didn't notice M-Will was in there, if the Nets trade for O'Neal they should definitely keep Marcus (if they're giving up RJ). Just like if the Nets want to give up Williams they should keep RJ...

I figure it's either trade RJ + Minimum crap so things work, or Marcus Williams + Loads of crap so the contracts work out...

We can definitely switch Carter with Jefferson.
As for Marcus, are you really confident enough that he'll be a starting PG in this league. All I see is somebody with loads of "potential" but somehow not be able to live up to it.
Any shake-up would be nice.
Vince Carter would fit perfectly in a major market like LA.

The thing about starting MArcus is the pressure put on him in an era that the point gaurd was the show of our team. We are known as a team that has easy baskets because of our PG. Marcus can't make those passes but I'm sure he'd be a fine starter to at least test out.
