What do you guys think we can get for him.Maybe a shooter? i think he has some value, because he's an expiring, former all-star, etc...some contender may want to use him. But, he does not fit here.Options, or plans??

Trade him for Aaron Williams.

Saw some A-Train in the Clippers-Knicks game yesterday. He still plays smart, tough, team-oriented, productive in spot minutes.

I don't think we're shopping him by himself. If we trade him it's gonna be a package deal. Although I think Thorn is gonna see what happens with the Kidd/VC trade speculations though, as his expiring could help us.

Straight up? I could see a Magloire-for-Doleac trade happening.

The production's about the same, but Doleac costs $880,000 less, getting NJ under the lux for sure, and recovering their share of the lux pie (maybe about $2 mil). Doleac knows his role, and is not the kind of guy who's going to be complaining about playing time. MIN doesn't lose any expirings, and gets to audition Magloire, who has upside. Very few teams could give Magloire more playing time, and the guy needs a change of scenery.

He is really that bad? I never have really gotten the chance to see him play. Is he just slow or does he have bad hands or what?

first of all, bruno, gabe pruitt will never be a player. I hope you were being sarcastic.

Magliore, from what i've seen is still serviceable and I hoenstly still believe he should play over a malik allen. He can bring some stability to the sometimes erratic defense of our young front line. Not a spectacular shot blocker but a better positional defender, being a vet in the league. I'm also a lot more confident in his ability to grab rebounds. With sean and Boone you never know if they'll be out of position or if they're gonna get it slapped away.

I've seen him try 2 play it was pretty sad he's washed up

^How is it a mistake?

The last time I checked he got a year deal. Which can be used as an expiring contract which could help us in trade situations. There was nothing wrong in signing Mags, if he didn't pan out, who cares?

He has been decent whenever he got time. For some reason Frank just doesnt like him. He rebounds well and plays good D, he has horrible hands and his offensive game is poor. But guess what, Collins was getting time and he was a worse player

On the floor he does seems stiff and slow. But I can't say with certainty it's because he's washed up or its because of Frank. Remember Mutombo...

It's to bad he didn't work out for you guys. he is exactly what you needed. A big guy who can rebound and defend.

^Meh, it's not all bad. I mean Josh Boone is doing a pretty good job of what he's suppose to do.
