So with Keith Van Horn back in the fold, I have a few questions for you guys here.

1. He had a real good solid rookie season and an even better 2nd season but then I guess the Marbury affect kicked in. What happened to his game?

2. How would you rank Keith Van Horn 1st run with the Nets?

3. Do you think he will actually suit up and comeback?

4. What do you people expect from him?

I don't really remember clearly about Keith's game. I remember it being a lot like Nowitzki, but passive. Perhaps the analogy is Dirk:Keith as Shaq:Curry.

As to #3:
As of tonight, league president of operations Joel Litvin was scrutinizing how Van Horn would be used in the deal, as he and Stern forewarned the teams Saturday night.

"If the guy gets there and 20 seconds later he gets cut and the guy is 55 years old, that's not going to pass muster," Litvin said. "If the guy played last year, reports and plays and practices, that will (be acceptable)."

"It's possible that it may be an issue," Thorn said.

The league allowed the semi-retired Aaron McKie to be used by the Lakers in their trade for Pau Gasol two weeks ago, because McKie reported to Memphis as a de-facto player-coach, though he hasn't suited up yet.

Both the Nets and Mavs teams are expecting Van Horn's cooperation, even if the NBA mandates that he must report to the Nets. They figure it's the least he can do for a $2 million salary -- which is a pro-rated portion of a $4 million contract the Nets and Mavs need to make the salaries match up.

He was soft and the way he played pissed me off a lot of times but he was a decent scorer. I doubt he plays again. He probably will just take his money and stay home.
