Thoughts about Antoine Wright

It seems like a lot of Nets fans don't think much of Wright. I know you all had high hopes for him but what is your honest evaluation. His shooting has been a disappointment as he was suppose to be a great shooter coming out of college. How about the rest of his game?

He needs confidence. He's a very good defender, and at times gets very streaky. However if you give him the confidence he'll be very serviceable on and off the ball.

He's the leagues leader in stepping out of bound if I remember right .

He can play decent defense but he has the offensive ability of a scared puppy dog

And as someone else said, he leads the league in stepping out of bounds. If he's anywhere the left or right side of the three point line, the rest of the Mavs on the floor with him might as well start trotting back to play defense.

I'll take the second over him any day. Besides if we really want him we can just re-sign him after this season haha

Resign who? The only contract Antione Wright will be signing is a contract for one of the NBA's D League affiliates!

If i wanted to watch a Nets game for flashes, i'd sit courtside and hope one of the lovely Nets dancers have a wardrobe malfunction

definitely a dissapointment, his greatest asset is that he is an okay defender, but he can't hit open shots, seriously he can not hit REALLY open shots... and he has no confidence...

It's not even that he misses shots. He messes up the whole offense by passing them up. He gets an open shot because a play was created. If you miss it...fine. He's only getting like 5-6 a game. But then he passes on it and makes some nonsense move and then we don't know what we're doing for the rest of the quarter. people scrambling, balls getting tipped, it's chaos.

Not all on him, but he's definitely a burden we just bear until VC catches his breath.

I think Antione has a lot of potential....

...that is, if we're talking about cutting grass, delivering pizza, or pushing carts in an A&P parking lot!!!
