nene to nets???

Post#1 » by ItsaVC3 » Thu Feb 21, 2008 3:18 pm

One Internet report claimed the Nets and Nuggets were talking Jamaal Magloire and Bostjan Nachbar for Nene. Given Nene's medical condition (testicular cancer), any deal would be high risk. One source squashed it.

we should do it

Why the EFF would we want Nene. We already have too many players at his position. Plus his contract is too big and he's prone to injury.

Because Nene is an hundred times better then every single center that you guys have in your roster! Center and Power Foward!

I honestly can't figure out why we'd be interested in him. We are loaded at PF/C now. Unless we were looking to deal Boone/Krstic, it doesn't make much sense. Nene is making pretty good money for his position, but is he worth it when the injuries he has sustained and his level of play?

Does Rod not see we need help at the 2/3 position that can shoot?

Now that we have more bigs than we need, trade for Miller. 20 more minutes we can do it!

Yea I really want Mike millers.. especially since he'll come pretty cheap IMO.

Send our expiring + 2 future 2nds or something.

This smells of Kiki. I think the FO is probably weighing having Nene or Krstic since this would hurt our cap flexibility. In the end this won't get done and we'll re-sign Krstic in the offseason.
