How About Running and Gunning
its clear that this team has reached a low in offense this year and at times they just simply cant put points on the board even if there lives depended on it, Frank's motion Offense and half court sets are really killing this team cuz from what i have seen, if u wanna be a halfcourt team, u need 2 things, DEFENCE and Efficent offense and we do not have either, half court offense gives us limited possesions and with this team struggling on offense on most nights, i dont think were just cut out to play half court basketball, were not exactly The Detroit Pistons and The San Antonio Spurs that have a great half court system built with guys who can knockdown shots from every position, I Think a run n gun type of offense would do this team well, especially with our new players and especially with devin running the point

i do agree frank is basically the problem, think about it, last year with rj and nenad down for most of the season, Vince and Jason held the team on there shoulders with vince doing most of the scoring, the offence looked so much better, this year with almost everybody back at full health, it looks uglier than an 80 yr old woman with her clothes off

#1 Option should be Vince with the ball in his hands near the basket to start off
#2 Should be Devin penetrating and dishing when he isn't hauling tail down the court at lightning speeds for lay ups.
#3 Rj should play off Vince and attack the basket when he sees daylight and hit the open threes and mid range j. This goes the same for Snackbar
#4 Give Nenad the ball in the post and let him go to work when he isn't doing pick and rolls with VC or Devin. Give Sean a chance to get some post ups. Keep the defenses honest!!!

Wow. Thanks for that disturbing image.

But Frank should be an assistant coach not a head coach.

nono i think we should keep running that play where Boone sets a weak screen for RJ in the right corner, let rj's defender get right by, and have boone stand there by the 3 point line thereby letting his man double rj. Meanwhile Boone and the gang can also watch marcus try to feed RJ for 15 seconds. If they get the ball to RJ and he finds himself doubled, no worries. After all, Boone is open. FOR THREEEEE
Also i dunno why MrDollarBills didnt include a play where marcus is handling the ball. He can be effective in his own pick and roll situations. He can cross up nearly anyone, and make the pass or shot.

I'd like to see the Nets become more of a running team.
I'd love to see Carter spun for another guard who can run and hit the three... I don't think that Marcus Williams is the answer, at least not as a starter.
If we could bring in someone along the lines of a Barbosa or a Joe Johnson... No way we sign him, but wouldn't a VC / Boone for JJ / Claxton trade be sick?

well at this point anybody is cheaper than vc no doubt but vince is really what they need right now to even make a playoff run, if the tandem of carter/harris/rj works out to be good then i think thorn will stick with vince on the team, if not then dump rj and a few contracts for expirings and let JAY-Z WORK HIS MAGIC ON LEBRON so he can be a future NET

Right now, this squad has the personnel to play both styles, I like it that way because the best teams can adapt to both up tempo and slow down grind out ball...the Nets as constructed can do both(although if we had that shooter we'd be even better). I have watched Mickey mouse Harris play since his rookie year and this kid is like **** lightning...a lot of you are under estimating what we have brewing here.
