can shoot like a shooting guard, notice I didn't say score, because he's too inconsistent.

And yeah, he's too small to play SG.

Id rather have devin at the 2 since he's more offensive-minded. Marcus is the one with the passing ability so keep him running point and let devin play to his strengths. Devin's smaller but quicker than most 2's so it could work.

I think in some games we should put Devin in the 2 spot and Marcus on the point . Sometimes Devin can blow past the 2 guards !!
Devin is another offensive weapon we have.
Marcus game yesterday surprised everybody he is a lefty it makes him have a slight advantage in some ways believe , he showed some nice crossovers but imagine if it will alaways be consistent!!

in my head im liking

Marcus --> Devin/DA
Devin --> Hassel/Vince
Vince ---> RJ/Bokie
Sean ---> Boone/Swift/Bokie
Nenad --> Diop/Boone

Our guys at the 1,2,3 are positionally versatile. everyone can shift around.

I like our team the more I look at it.

I don't like the idea of starting them both. marcus needs to come off the bench as a spark offensively.

Krstic/Boone/RJ/Carter/Harris is the starting five, that is solid right there. We need that fire power off the bench...Marcus, Hassel, Snackbar, SWAT, and Diop is a SOLID 2nd unit.

You guys should be excited, christ i've already wet my pants!!!

Honestly, I'm very excited for this new team. Championship? No. But it's kind of refreshing to be starting something new and hopefully promising.

Also, to your point. If you are looking for a spark off the bench, it isnt Marcus. He's not a DA, an energy, instant impact type of guy. He's more of a steady type of player. Basically i think he's better served as a starter playing longer minutes. If you're thinking spark, think Devin or DA.

Devin will still get his 30 minutes, but i think he might be a great player off the bench as far as keeping up the intensity and preventing a drop off in performance once the bench comes in (which has been a major problem this season). Then other teams dont get to take a breather against our bench because we stay comptetitive.

I think a Marcus/Harris combo would be too small and too poor of perimeter shooters (though Harris has been getting better) to work, but it's worth a shot.

Marcus HAS to play the point guard position...He's to small to play shooting guard and is not that great of a shooter to play the 2. I am surprised this is even up for discussion around here. Sure he can score, but his main position is point guard and he's to talented of a passer to be wasted at the 2 spot. If anything, at the very least Marcus in his career will be a reliable scoring point guard off the bench(ala Sherman Douglas). Notice how I said Point Guard...

Its actually gonna be the other way around Williams is much more of a natural PG than Harris.
Both will be amazing when they reach their top.
