Magloire is supposedly signing with the Mavs. They now have four of our former players. Was this part of the plan all along? Or is this just a funny coincidence? :-?

Do i mind them having Wright , Allen or Magloire ?

Hell no , those were our 3 worst players this season.

I'm sure a lot of people are thinking the same thing. No doubt it looks a little shady. My question is what happens to his salary from our end. Is he paid pro-rated for the amount of time he spent here and does Dallas pick up the rest?

If you waive Diop and Magloire, and we re-signed both of them, then you can call it.

BTW, how are you likeing Diop? I have not seen him in games when I flip league pass over to NJ.

Looked okay today against Howard , Indiana was a bad fit for him too many perimeter players .

Can't really judge but looks ok.

Thx...I just saw the box...5 fouls in 9 min? Yoah!!! He does get called foul often, but only has 1-2 games a year with that foul rate; at least in Dallas.

Do you think you are going to re-sign him or let him walk in free agency?

Way too early to tell , i'd say.

He took some fouls to prevent Howard from getting easy dunks to send him to the line , which worked quite good . I'm not worried about todays fouls .

Ah, okay.

Diop was one of my favorites. He did for us (per min) what Ben Wallace does for his teams the last 2 years. The difference is Wallace has that swagger to him and Diop seems more meek. But he was effective at defending the paint; I'm sjut not really sure he is needed on eastern teams as much as the western teams.

yes it was definitely part of the plan...just like if the Nets got Stack they would of waived him and he would of resigned w. the Mavs...

you can bet that Thorn said he would waive Magloire after the trade...Cuban was not willing to part w. the draft picks at first which was holding up the deal...and w/ what Cuban was giving up he knew he was going to be thin w. his front court...so you can say Thorn gave him his word on the waiver of Mags since he wasnt playing...

Its funny, Diop was in the Mavs doghouse as Mags was in the Nets doghouse...we just swapped doghouse players...

I would assume this is probably why the cash remained in the deal even after the only player from Dallas we were going to buyout, Stackhouse, was taken off the table.

Conspiracy? Eh...couldn't care less. I'm not fond of either of them, but at least we got the better bad player. Hah...better bad.
