Don't think he'll be traded unless a great deal's on the table .

He's right now the heart and soul of the Team , he'd be hard to replace so there has to be a really good deal to consider parting with him.

RJ is the perfect player. He's loyal, respectful, has heart, doesn't give up, brings it every night, etc... I can go on and on. I truly hope he stays a Net forever because he's the one person on this team who brings the passion and energy every single night.

what you call hard times, I call a transitional period...now the Knicks on the other hand are on some hard times...and you have to go back quite a few years to actually talk about real hard times as far as the Nets are concerned...

I agree.

Hell, earlier this year I went on an anti-Nets rant after we lost to the Clips at home for the first time in 11 years, but even though this years team has been a complete disappointment and underachievers, its only because we have been spoiled as perrenial contenders for 3-4 years and then solid playoff teams for the last 2-3 years, that had talent to do damage.

Before that the Nets were like the Clips of the East.

I don't want to get to souped up either, but man have we looked good the last 2 games against some serious comp.

I mean Harris has only been here for maybe what, 10 games?

Once he finally gets the system down and gets it together this might be a sick team.

Boone is really starting to look like the real deal, although, I don't know what to say about him or our interior and big man defense as a whole as we gave up 40-something to Boozer last night, I believe he broke his career high of 44 as well.

We were missing Curly though.

I still think we need to trade for a legit big man, but we could have a very potent lineup with the right move.

If Swift picks up his option, and we could trade him, S.Will, Hassel and maybe Auger for a legit defensive big, along with our new big 3 and Curly, we could be legit contenders.

Maybe even S.Will and and Swift for Camby if the Nuggets don't make a run at it and want start cutting some salary.

Maybe even a sign and trade for Okafur, although I don't like the fact he is always hurt and doesn't make the biggest of impacts on the game. Man we wouold have a lot of guys from Uconn and the Big East on this team though.

If they get Beasley, maybe even Bogut is fair game for a decent asking price form the Bucks.

If we had to trade Kidd, which we did, I liked what we got for him, a lot, and now the team is showing

some of its potential I like the trade even more.

I think of Harris as a Tony Parker type of player, and RJ to the likes of a Manu Ginobli.

We have Carter as well, as well as a strong bench.

If we could find our Duncan(yeah right, but wishful thinking), in Bogut or Okafor, or have a serious defensive presence with Camby, we could do big things.

Our bench is solid, and if you do trade for one of these 3 guys whoever doesn't start, Boone or Krstic bolsters the bench even further, and then you sign one more pure shooter or trade for him in the offseason.

You gotta love guys like him. I see him as learning all the good on the court traits as Kidd but he's a good guy like Devin Harris is.
My favorite Net for sure.

hes really steppin more into the leadership role.

i saw him giving diop some good pointers, getting in his face, but telling him nicely so diop doesn't take it like its all his fault and does play better.

good stuff him and vc are doing.
