Official Game Thread: Nets vs. Nuggets (Game 69)
The Nuggets big men worry me, it's going to take a high energy effort from the Nets bigs to combat them... Hopefully the team doesn't back down from taking the ball to the hole either...

This will be a fun one if Frank keeps the ball in the hands of Harris and Carter. All Jefferson has to do is hit his shots and attack the rim when those two dish to him

VC has been playing his butt off lately & it finally payed off in a monstrous game that the Nets needed in the worst way. VC usually plays well vs AI teams so hopefully Vinsanity runs amok again.
I assume Devin's speed & length will be a good matchup vs AI (well as good as you can get against a monster offensive player) and Carter can match up vs Carter. RJ once again must guard a offensive beast in Melo but at the same token Melo is a lazy defender. KMart & Camby will be a good test for our frontcourt to keep them away from the offensive glass.
I've watched Camby since his NCAA days w/ Duncan and he's had a damn productive career if not slightly dissapointing one on the offensive end. SWat as a rookie has better offensive technique then Camby did but Camby is a guy SWat should look at & say I have all the tools to be just as effective as this guy. Camby & SWat have they same body type & athleticism. Camby is obviously the better man-to-man defender but SWat can become as dangerous is Camby is both man-to-man & help defense...watch & learn rook.
I think this is a game/style that Marcus Williams & Boki can thrive in. Marcus needs to step it up this game & bolster the bench.
Limiting Denver's 2nd chance points & fastbreak opportunities will be the key to Nets success. They do that & they have a good chance at this one.

Sean needs to show that he has a pulse tonight. The guy has had two starts and really hasn't done much, he needs to be the game changer we expect

Carter is just dominating..I'm loving this Vince from the last 2 games..too bad Frank took him off to start the quarter, which gave the ballhandling duties to Williams and Nachbar, who happen to both suck, which has put the game out of reach..
the Nets aren't my team so I don't watch every game, but is Williams always this bad? wasn't this guy supposed to have potential? every time I watch him he's just jacking up bad shots and making bad decisions..surely he must have learned something playing from one of the best PGs of all-time..
