Our only chance would be sending out players to really get after Bostons big 3 ...

They won't make it, even if Dirk was fine.

Right before the trade deadline, the Mavs brought in Jason Kidd to keep up with the top teams in the West. They do have a winning record (9-7) since that trade. However, a closer look at the numbers shows every win they have has come against sub-.500 teams and every loss has come to teams with records above .500. At the time of the trade, I was in favor of the move. I still believe the Mavs are a better team with Kidd than with Devin Harris. Unfortunately one thing has become very clear; Kidd is no longer a threat to score. He has lost that quick burst to blow past defenders. He looks like he has lost the confidence to make an open jumper.

They haven't beatin a single team that was above .500 with Kidd.

Looks like we will take Dallas's 2009 & 2011......2011 should really pan out. Thats when they will be over the hill. 2011 looking to be a top 5 pick.

I rather take 09-11 then 08-10.

I don't know if Dallas missed the playoffs this year i guarantee you Cuban will spend another absurd amount of money to make his team better.

The 09 pick will not be better then this years pick more likely way worse.

If we want to get any value out of that Dallas '08 pick we better hope they get in. This offseason has got to be productive and in order for it to be so we need that Dallas pick, even if its in the 20s it will have better value than it would in '09, Dallas will be retooled and geared up for one last championship push.

So, we must root for la batidora de esposa to will his team into the playoffs just as he did for us in days past!!!

With their halfcourt defense, Boston would beat us across the collective skull like a caveman clubbing his mate.
