Bulls/Nets?

I am not in love with this trade.
Just wanted to gauge everyone's opinion on it, from Bulls and Nets fans to outsiders.

CHICAGO SENDS:
Drew Gooden
Ben Gordon

NJ Sends:
Richard Jefferson
Sean Williams

This would basically be a trade if both these teams couldn't find a true blockbuster deal and were intent on shaking things up, which very well might be the case.

Gordon is a decent defender although short, Golden State have proven it can work to an extent with Baron and Ellis, and Devin Harris is a superb defender.
VC is actually a very underrated defender, although he cheats way too much on double teams, therefore giveing up too many perimeter shots.
Gooden is a solid PF and will be an expiring contract.
Put him next to Boone and you have a nice rebounding/defensive tandem that can get out and run the floor.
I guess Gordon would have to sign a fair contract though, and even if he is BYC, I believe we can send out Van Horn's contract to make it work, because it is non-guarenteed.

Outside the box or just silly????

I would die if this trade went down. Drew Gooden is basically Josh Boone. Trading Sean for him would just take away from our athleticism down low. Ben Gordon is a hot or cold player. RJ is more consistent and reliable. Overall this trade is pretty bad.

Bulls dont need Jefferson unless they cant sign Deng.

Gordon refused $10 million a year last season from Bulls saying that they arent even close to his price. If you meet Gordon's price, Bulls will gladly trade him.

Actually, Gordon has such an inflated value of his worth, I see him taking the Qualifying Offer. Doubtful that the Bulls will offer him $10 million again.

Yeah, Gordon is not worth more than 50 mill for 5 years, and I agree the Bulls probrably don't even offer him that now.
Sort of like the Vlad Rad situation a few years ago, but on a bigger scale.

This was definitely not one of my best ideas, but really for one main reason.
How would a lineup of:
PG Harris
SG Gordon
SF Carter
PF Gooden
C Boone

be able to defend anyone good?

They wouldn't.
