is there any chance that ron thorn looks at avery and mike as the future head coach of this team

Nope
Neither of them will work for us. First, Avery limited Harris. Second, D'antoni is overrated.

If Eddie Jordan is fired in Washington i'm pretty sure Thorn will look to add him to the coaching staff again but these guys ? No way .

Agreed.
I think he might be my favorite coach in the league.
My top 3 is probrably rounded out with George Karl and Byron Scott.
Closely followed by Stan Van Gundy and Rick Addelman.
By the way, for those who don't like Karl, I always feel like he takes on some of the toughest assignments in the league and takes them as far as they will go. At this point he then gets fired, the teams and players blame evything on him, the team is broken up the following season and he moves on to the next challenge.
Look at him in Milwaukee. He had to deal with a lot of big ego's and a lineup that couldn't play much defense and still brought them deep into the playoffs for years, including the Conference Finals.
He has an almost uncoachable team in Denver, that refuses to play defense with vast injury problems that he has taken to the playoffs for 3 years including a 50 win season in the ridiculous West this year.
Although he hasn't had a lot of playoff success, look at the matchups he has had in the 1st round.

I doubt Eddie Jordan is fired, not after the magnificent job he did this season coaching the Wizards to the playoffs.
He hasn't had the most playoff success, but that's mainly been because the Wizards have never been healthy...
In a worst case scenario Washington fires Eddie Jordan... at the end of NEXT year.
Still I'd prefer him over Avery or D'Antoni.

Skiles is also free.
They are both tough guy -- drill sergeant type coaches. This team needs get get a backbone and respond after getting punched instead of just curling up, with a "no mas! no mas!". Frank is more of a nagging mom type of coach --- his style is falling on deaf ears.

Sam Mitchell ? Hell no , everybody outcoaches this guy .
And Skiles ? First of all he's already hired in Millwaukee .
I don't think these drill seargent type of coach work really well for more then 2-3 years . These type of coaches will allways get into trouble with players .

Mitchell?!~?!!?!?!?!?!?
Mitchell was the main reason Vince came to us and left Toronto so I dont see us bringing him here.
Skiles is going to the Bucks.
D'antoni would be awesome for us I really would have loved to have him here but were stuck with Lawrence

I don't think so, Thorn already said he wants to keep Frank coaching which is a bad idea.

See, I like Silas as a coach, but I feel he is better for a young, up and coming team, like Charlotte, or Seattle, Philly, etc.
Since all these teams have quality coaches, he may not be in the best spot to get hired this year.
