Who do you like at 21?

I'd go Budinger or Rush if we picked a PF/C at 10. I like Hibbert at 21 if we pick a SG/SF at 10. I know not many people like Hibbert, but at 21, I think he is a great pick.

i think i like nicolas batum if he's still available
long and athletic with potential to be good with the right guidance. He might also be kept in France until he's more ready since he's 19 and real skinny.

But if RJ stays, he'd make a nice back up for a while. And if RJ goes he can fill the hole.

In this order for 21...

1.) Chase Budinger
2.) Brandon Rush
3.) Chris Douglas-Roberts
4.) Roy Hibbert

Walker and Dorsey is not worth 21 and I could definitely see them falling to 40. McGee was projected Top 10 at one point this summer and now Top 15. I don't see him falling to us.

I don't understand the Budinger hate. The guy is athletic as hell and can shoot. Sure Rush is a better defender, but I'm not to keen on drafting a guy with a previous ACL tear.

If Speights is there I would take him with a 2nd thought. Other than him or Ajinca I would look for swingmen like CDR, Buddinger, and Alexander. I doubt Batum is available.

truth is i saw budinger play in like 4 games, and his defense was horrible, and he was extremely slow... and i just don't think he would fit this team. he doesn't embody the aggressive attitude that this team needs. i'd pick alexander over him anyday.

I don't think 4 games is sufficient enough of a reason to pass on him if he's available from the guys you pointed out.

Rush isn't exactly an aggressive player either. Scouts have him not driving enough to the basket along with even being a coaster in some games. I would too pick Joe, but I don't see him at 21.

They'll pick a big with the first pick think they want an athletic big who can run the floor.
Darrell Arthur-good low post scorer and jumpshot (NBA ready)
Anthony Randolph-
McGee-7oot long wingspan, good handles slight build could be more like Tayshuan Prince.

Never saw him play but Kosta Koufos could be a good look.
Maybe not worthy of the 10th pick the Nets could trade down.

With # 21 think they'll go for a shooter Brandon Rush is one of my favs.
6'6 athletic shooter, good defender and well coached.

What are your thoughts on Donte Greene? I'm a 'Cuse fan and while I think he's making a HUGE mistake coming out this year and to be honest I really have my doubts he'll ever develop into anything, at #21 I wouldn't mind him.

If we get a big with the other Pick or in a trade a backup SG .

CDR , Brandon Rush , Chase Budinger whatever somebody who can step in and help the team .

That's how I see our draft going if we use the picks.

At #10 in no particular order, we'll draft either...
- DeAndre Jordan
- JaVale McGee
- Marreese Speights
- Kevin Love (shudder)

At #21 in no particular oder
- Brandon Rush
- Chase Budinger
- Chris Douglas-Roberts

By no means will we get a franchise player or even an All-Star in this draft (I'm not even confident Beasly or Rose will be Superstars on Chicago and Miami), but either projects or good role players.

I will say this...no matter who we pick in this draft, whether we somehow trade up and get Rose or Beasly or use our own picks, this team will still yet to have any kind of direction (barring a major trade for a PROVEN player) post draft.
